Each bracket weighs about 10 pounds, offering impressive stability for a setup using two 4x4 treated posts and a 4x6 top beam. The kit is impressively complete, including 3-inch lag screws, washers, and all necessary hardware to get the frame standing. While you'll need to source your own treated lumber and swings, having these pre-drilled, high-gauge steel brackets makes the structural assembly much more predictable and secure than standard hardware store alternatives.
