Best Kona in 2026

You are standing over a searing hot grill, trying to flip delicate, thin-cut vegetables without them falling through the grates into the coals. The Kona Heavy Duty BBQ Grill Mats completely eliminate that frustration by providing a reliable, non-stick surface that handles everything from juicy steaks to tender chicken. What sets these apart is the sheer durability. At 0.39mm, they are twice as thick as many competitors and engineered to withstand peak temperatures of 600 degrees. I love how they act as a protective barrier, keeping your expensive Weber or Traeger looking brand new by preventing grease buildup. Instead of wrestling with clunky grill baskets, you get a clean, easy cooking experience that is PFOA-free and built to last through over 1,000 uses per side.

You might think another set of frozen gel packs is just more clutter for your freezer, but the Kona XL packs actually solve the biggest headache of picnic season: wasted space. Most ice packs are bulky blocks that crowd out your food, but these are surprisingly slim at only half an inch thick while maintaining a massive 13x10 inch footprint. I was particularly impressed by the rapid freeze time, hitting readiness in under 25 minutes, which is a lifesaver when you're packing a cooler in a rush. They handle everything from delicate ice cream to heavy meats without the messy, lukewarm puddle of melted ice water you usually have to clean up. They feel incredibly durable and built to last through multiple trips.

Most backyard pitmasters spend far too much money on single-flavor bulk bags that eventually leave their recipes feeling repetitive. The Kona Smoker Grilling Pellet Variety Pack solves this by offering an entire season of flavor profiles in one curated set. I was impressed by the sheer versatility, ranging from the subtle sweetness of Apple and Cherry to the aggressive punch of Mesquite Acacia. Because you only need about a half-cup per session, these one-pound packs actually stretch much further than you would expect, providing roughly 80 uses total. Whether you are using a dedicated smoker tube or sprinkling them directly onto charcoal, these all-natural, additive-free hardwoods integrate seamlessly into your existing setup, even with specialized gear like the Ninja Woodfire or Ooni ovens.

Flavor-chasing backyard pitmasters need this Kona variety pack to escape the monotony of single-wood smoking. Instead of committing to one profile, this eight-pound assortment lets you pivot from the punchy intensity of 100% Hickory to the delicate sweetness of the Sweetwood Blend in a single afternoon. I found the efficiency impressive. You only need about a half-cup per session to achieve that deep, wood-fired aroma. Whether you are using a dedicated smoker tube or sprinkling them directly onto charcoal, these sustainably sourced hardwoods deliver a clean burn without any artificial additives or fillers. It is an incredibly versatile toolkit for anyone looking to experiment with different flavor profiles across an entire grilling season.

Most backyard pitmasters are unknowingly smoking their food with glorified sawdust swept off factory floors. Kona changes that narrative by using hand-selected timber from retired orchards and sustainable forests to ensure a concentrated, pure hardwood aroma. This variety pack is a game-changer for Ninja Woodfire users because it eliminates the guesswork of flavor profiles. You get eight individual one-pound bags, ranging from Sweet Maple and Hickory to Mesquite Acacia, allowing you to experiment with different profiles for an entire season. Because these pellets burn much hotter, they produce that coveted thin blue smoke rather than a heavy, acrid cloud. Whether you are sprinkling them over charcoal or using a smoker tube, the flavor density is noticeably higher than standard upcycled options.

Sun-seekers and casual drinkers will find their new go-to refreshment in the Kona Big Wave Golden Ale. This isn't a heavy, palate-coating brew. Instead, it is a remarkably smooth, light-bodied lager designed for high-volume sipping. I was impressed by how the special blend of hops and caramel malt creates a balanced profile that stays incredibly easy to drink. At 4.4% ABV and just 132 calories per bottle, it hits that sweet spot of being flavorful without feeling overly indulgent. Whether you are cooling off after a long day or pairing it with a light meal, the quenching and refreshing finish makes every sip feel like a tropical getaway.

The Kona Pellet Smoker Tube solves the most frustrating part of indirect cooking by actually staying lit. Most tubes I've tested die out mid-session, but this patent-pending diamond-shaped design regulates airflow perfectly to keep those pellets burning for hours. If you use dry, premium pellets and follow the trick of letting it burn for ten minutes before blowing it out, you can get up to eight hours of steady smoke. It is incredibly versatile, working across gas, electric, and charcoal setups for both hot and cold smoking. The 304 stainless steel build feels heavy-duty and makes maintenance a breeze since you just shake out the ash. It is a reliable tool that turns a small amount of wood into a long-lasting flavor engine.

The Kona Speed/Scraper Grill Brush and Scraper redefines efficiency by combining a triple-head design with a heavy-duty stainless steel scraper for lightning-fast cleaning. I was particularly impressed by the new patent-pending Flex-Grip handle, which provides much better control than the flimsy, bending brushes you typically find in a backyard drawer. This tool feels incredibly rigid—about 85% more so than conventional options—meaning you aren't fighting the tool while you fight the grime. The handle length is the real sweet spot. It keeps your hands safely away from the intense heat without feeling overly cumbersome or awkward to maneuver. Whether you are cleaning delicate porcelain or heavy cast iron, this setup makes the chore feel much less like a struggle and more like a quick thirty-second task.

Kona has established a new benchmark for backyard BBQ essentials with this heavy-duty, dual-tongs set. After putting these through their paces, the most impressive aspect is the combination of robust stainless steel and premium silicone that provides a smooth-glide locking action. At 18 inches long, they offer the perfect reach to keep your hands safely away from intense grill heat without sacrificing control. Having two pairs in one package is a genuine game-changer for meal prep, allowing you to handle delicate vegetables and heavy meats simultaneously without any risk of cross-contamination. They feel substantial in the hand, built with a level of durability that suggests they will survive many seasons of high-heat cooking.

Most backyard cooks assume that protecting their grates means sacrificing those iconic sear marks, but the Kona XL mat proves you can actually have both. This isn't one of those flimsy, thin liners that tears after a single summer. At 0.39mm, it is significantly thicker than the leading competitors. I found that it retains heat much like a heavy grill stone, which is essential for getting that perfect crust on a steak without losing the small morsels of veggies to the coals below. Because it can be cut to size, it fits everything from massive outdoor smokers to small sandwich presses. It essentially turns your grill into a massive, non-stick surface that keeps your equipment looking brand new while handling temperatures up to 600 degrees.

Most backyard cooks settle for flimsy mesh or standard PTFE mats that tear after a few seasons, but the Kona Copper Grill Mats offer a professional-grade alternative that actually lasts. These aren't your typical thin accessories. At 0.30mm thick, they feature a reinforced core designed to withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees without compromising safety. I found that using these instead of bulky grill baskets makes it much easier to handle everything from delicate sliced vegetables to thick, juicy steaks without the mess. They provide those beautiful, distinct grill marks while simultaneously protecting your expensive gas or pellet grill from grease buildup. Because they are PFOA-free and engineered for extreme durability, you can expect over 1,000 uses per side, making them a legitimate long-term investment for any serious outdoor chef.

The Kona Submariner stands out as a premier choice for water enthusiasts because it actually floats and offers a double-seam design for superior protection. I found that the ability to squeeze the pouch to create an air gap is a total game-changer, allowing you to maintain perfect touchscreen responsiveness and underwater clarity. Whether you are snorkeling or kayaking, this extra-large pouch easily accommodates massive devices up to 7.5 inches, including the latest high-end smartphones. It handles more than just water, shielding your tech from mud, grease, and snow while remaining crystal clear for photography. Plus, the inclusion of a five-year replacement guarantee provides a level of peace of mind you rarely see at this price point.

Most people assume that cleaning a heavy-duty grill requires harsh, stinging chemicals that leave your backyard smelling like a laboratory, but Kona has completely flipped that script. This no-drip gel formula actually clings to vertical surfaces like hoods and grates instead of running off, which is a massive game-changer for minimizing scrubbing time. I found that letting it sit for about twenty minutes does the heavy lifting, dissolving stubborn carbon and baked-on grease without the need for aggressive elbow grease. It is impressively versatile too, working just as well on an air fryer or a kitchen oven as it does on a Traeger or a Blackstone. Since it is non-flammable and nearly odorless, you can clean your gear safely while it is cool without worrying about toxic fumes.

The Kona Grill Brush and Scraper is a heavy-duty cleaning powerhouse that redefines how quickly you can prep your grates for the next cookout. After testing its triple-head design, the standout feature is clearly the integrated stainless steel scraper, which tackles stubborn carbon buildup in seconds. Unlike flimsy alternatives that bend under pressure, this tool feels incredibly rigid and durable. The new patent-pending Flex-Grip handle is a game-changer, offering the perfect ergonomic length to keep your hands safely away from the heat without feeling cumbersome. Whether you are cleaning delicate porcelain or rugged cast iron, this brush provides the aggressive grime-cutting power needed to keep any grill looking brand new.

After weeks of use during weekend camping trips, these Kona Black Ice packs have completely changed how I pack my cooler. Instead of dealing with the messy, soggy aftermath of melting ice bags, I just fill these with water and freeze them. The proprietary gel maintains a steady 18-degree temperature for up to 48 hours, which is a massive relief when you're far from a convenience store. The heavy-duty HDPE plastic shell feels incredibly durable, and the unique diamond pattern seems to help pull the cold out much faster than standard packs. They are sized perfectly to fit into tight corners, and knowing the gel contains no mysterious chemicals makes me feel much better about keeping them right next to my food.

The terrifying sight of loose metal bristles embedded in your food is finally a thing of the past with the Kona bristle-free grill brush. I was immediately struck by how much more rigid this tool feels compared to those flimsy, nylon-bristled alternatives that tend to melt or bend under pressure. This patent-pending design acts as a 3-in-1 powerhouse, combining a scraper with a unique cleaning surface that won't shed dangerous debris. To get the best results, I found that dipping the tool in water to create steam makes the cleaning process incredibly efficient. It hits that sweet spot with handle length, keeping your hands safely away from the intense heat without feeling too cumbersome to maneuver. It is a heavy-duty, rust-resistant essential for anyone serious about maintaining porcelain, cast iron, or ceramic grates.

The Kona Safe/Clean Grill Brush is a total game-changer for backyard cooks who are tired of dangerous wire bristles and flimsy tools. I was impressed by how the new patent-pending Flex-Grip handle and triple-head design tackle heavy grime without the risk of shedding metal. Unlike those cheap, bendy brushes, this 100% stainless steel tool is 85% more rigid, making it feel incredibly substantial in your hand. The integrated heavy-duty scraper is the real MVP here, allowing you to clear even the toughest burnt-on residue from porcelain, cast iron, or Weber grates in about thirty seconds. It hits that sweet spot of handle length, keeping your hands safe from the heat without feeling too cumbersome to maneuver. It is a professional-grade cleaning solution that actually lives up to its speed claims.

The rich, swirling scent of authentic hickory and cherry wood hits you the moment you start your grill. This Kona variety pack is a game-changer for anyone using a Ninja Woodfire or even a traditional charcoal setup. Instead of committing to just one flavor profile, you get a curated rotation of Apple, Cherry, Mesquite, and a heavy-hitting Supreme Blend. Because you only need about a third to a half cup per session, these eight pounds of premium USA hardwoods stretch across roughly 80 uses. There are no artificial additives or fillers here, just sustainably sourced hardwoods that deliver that deep, wood-fired essence. Whether you are sprinkling them over charcoal or using a smoker tube, the flavor profile stays clean and consistent every single time.

Most marine cleaners run straight down the side of the hull before they even have a chance to work, leaving you frustrated and scrubbing harder than necessary. Kona changes that dynamic with a specialized no-drip gel formula designed to actually stick to vertical surfaces. I found that the way this gel clings to the boat allows it to penetrate deep into stubborn grease, dried fish residue, and bird droppings without immediately sliding off. It is a relief to find a professional-strength solution that is biodegradable and phosphate-free, meaning you can clean your fiberglass or vinyl surfaces without worrying about the environmental impact on local marine life. You simply spray it on, let the chemistry do the heavy lifting for a few minutes, and wipe it away.

Why settle for flimsy, thin mats that warp the moment the heat turns up? The Kona BBQ grill mat bundle is a complete game-changer for anyone tired of cleaning stuck-on grease or managing messy drips. These mats are impressively thick at 0.39mm, making them significantly more durable than the standard options you typically find. I was particularly struck by their 600-degree temperature threshold, which allows you to sear juicy steaks or sauté delicate vegetables without worrying about PFOA or melting. This bundle gives you two standard sizes and one XL mat, providing enough coverage to keep your grill looking brand new. With a massive 1,000-use lifespan per side and a seven-year guarantee that even covers accidental overheating, these are built for serious outdoor cooking.

Most backyard cooks settle for a single, repetitive smoke profile, but the Kona Wood Pellet Variety Pack turns a standard grill session into a gourmet tasting menu. Instead of being stuck with just one flavor, you get a massive rotation of Hickory, Oak, Premium, and Sweetwood blends that provide up to 80 different uses. I found that you only need a tiny amount—about 1/3 to 1/2 cup—to really transform your meat. These are 100% natural, sustainably sourced hardwoods with zero fillers or artificial additives, making them a reliable choice for the Ninja Woodfire or any charcoal setup using a smoker tube. It is a massive upgrade for anyone tired of the same old flavor profiles every weekend.

Why settle for unevenly cooked ribs when you can optimize your entire smoker layout? The Kona Rib Rack is a game-changer for backyard pitmasters who need to feed a crowd without sacrificing quality. By holding up to six full racks upright, it maximizes vertical space and ensures smoke circulates around every inch of meat for a perfectly even cook. I love that it isn't a single-use tool. You can simply flip the heavy-duty steel over to use it as a grill basket for massive briskets, whole turkeys, or pork shoulders. The reinforced welding and non-stick coating make it incredibly durable and easy to clean, meaning it can handle the intense heat of a Kamado or pellet grill season after season.

Achieving that authentic backyard smokehouse aroma without a massive offset smoker is the primary hurdle for many outdoor cooks. These Kona Sweetwood Blend pellets solve that by providing a concentrated burst of wood-fired flavor specifically designed for the Ninja Woodfire outdoor grill. I found that you only need a tiny amount—roughly 1/3 to 1/2 cup—to transform a standard meal into something special. Because they are made from 100% real, sustainably sourced hardwoods with zero fillers or artificial additives, the smoke profile remains clean and natural. They burn efficiently with low ash and low moisture, which is essential when you are looking for flavor enhancement rather than using them as a primary fuel source. It is a straightforward way to level up your grilling game.

The Kona Intercon 7-Piece Dining Set is a masterclass in rustic sophistication that brings a heavy, high-end feel to any dining room. What immediately caught my eye is the hand-distressed mango wood, which features a brushed Raisin finish that looks incredibly intentional rather than mass-produced. The construction relies on solid mango wood and select hardwoods, giving it a sturdy, heirloom-quality weight. I particularly love the versatility offered by the butterfly leaf, making it easy to expand the table for unexpected guests. Whether you opt for the ladder back style or the cushioned Parson's chairs, the set manages to feel both cozy and upscale. But the craftsmanship and functional design make it a standout choice for a centerpiece.

Most home bakers struggle with unevenly browned cookies and warped pans that lose their shape after a few months, but these Nordic Ware half sheets solve both problems at once. Because they are crafted from pure aluminum, the heat conductivity is exceptional, ensuring your sheet pan dinners and pastries brown consistently every time. I was particularly impressed by the reinforced encapsulated steel rim, which provides the structural integrity needed to prevent the dreaded mid-bake warp. Whether you prefer using parchment paper or silicone mats for easy cleanup, these pans are built for a lifetime of heavy use. It is rare to find professional-grade, USA-made bakeware that handles both sweet and savory tasks with such reliable durability.
