Best Lakoart in 2026

Most people assume that creating an aged, antique aesthetic requires hours of manual tea-staining and distressing, but this LakoArt kit essentially does the heavy lifting for you. I was struck by how much texture is packed into these 120 sheets, ranging from coffee-splattered pages to delicate botanical illustrations and old newspaper clippings. Each piece measures 17x12 cm, making them a substantial size for junk journals, mixed media collages, or even framing as cottagecore wall art. Whether you are layering antique maps into a diary or using the butterfly and angel designs for decoupage, the variety across the six distinct themes provides incredible creative flexibility. It is a massive, versatile collection that turns a simple scrapbooking session into a professional-looking historical archive.

Most artists assume they need separate specialized pads for every medium, but the Canson Imagine pad challenges that necessity by bridging the gap between dry and wet media. At 200gsm, this acid-free paper provides a sturdy foundation that handles everything from the delicate touch of charcoal and pastels to the heavier moisture of gouache and acrylic. I found the natural silky fine grain texture to be incredibly tactile, offering a premium feel that makes sketching a pleasure. Because the paper is pure white, your colors pop with much more harmony and contrast than you might expect from a multi-purpose sheet. The A5 format, glued on the short side, makes it a portable powerhouse for spontaneous creative sessions.

Better Office Products' Aged Paper delivers a convincing antique aesthetic that instantly elevates any creative project. I was particularly impressed by the 27 lb. bond weight.
