Best Mr. Assist in 2026

Why do so many talented players struggle with puck control when the pressure is on? The Mr. Assist solves this problem by turning any flat surface into a high-repetition training zone. Designed by former NHL professional Jeff Serowik, this tool focuses on the often-neglected skills of passing and receiving. You simply attach the velcro to your stick and use the durable bungee line to send pucks back and forth. It is a game-changer for solo sessions in a garage or driveway, allowing you to sharpen both your forehand and backhand without needing a teammate. Instead of waiting for a coach to be available, you can develop softer, faster hands whenever the mood strikes, making it an essential piece of off-ice equipment for serious skill development.

Howies Hockey Tape Stick Wax is a total game-changer for keeping your blade dry during heavy slush games. I was impressed by how easily a few quick swipes across the tape created a reliable barrier against ice and snow buildup. It doesn't just protect your tape job from getting waterlogged. It actually adds a noticeable layer of grip that helps with puck control when things get messy on the ice. Being made in the USA is a huge plus for quality assurance, and honestly, the scent is surprisingly pleasant. It’s a simple, effective way to prolong your tape life and ensure your puck feel stays consistent from the first period to the last.

Aspiring young entrepreneurs and math-phobic kids will find their new favorite classroom in Osmo Pizza Co. This isn't just another tablet game. It bridges the gap between digital play and tactile reality by using physical toppings, money tiles, and pizza trays that the Osmo system actually sees and reacts to in real-time. As children run their own pizzeria, they aren't just playing chef. They are mastering addition, subtraction, and fractions while navigating the complexities of making change and calculating business profitability. The real-time audio and visual feedback creates a stress-free environment where kids can experiment with mental math and problem-solving without feeling lectured. It turns a standard math lesson into a fast-paced, high-stakes business simulation that keeps them engaged from beginner to expert levels.

It is a rugged, American-made tool that handles everything from beginner rudiments to professional touring demands with ease.

SportsTape Clear Hockey Tape delivers a professional-grade grip that survives even the most intense slushy conditions. I found the waterproof and snowproof adhesive to be a total game-changer for keeping socks and gear locked in place during heavy play. What really sets this apart is the serrated edge design. You can ditch the scissors entirely because the tape tears cleanly without any annoying fraying. It provides that flexible strength athletes demand to stay secure on the ice, yet it peels away effortlessly once the game ends. Because this comes in a convenient 10-pack, you can keep rolls stashed in your gear bag, car, or toolbox so you are never caught unprepared during a quick equipment fix.

Most parents settle for passive screen time, but the Let Loose Moose Hover Soccer Ball set transforms a quiet living room into an active arena. Instead of a standard ball that scuffs baseboards, these hover toys use soft foam bumpers to protect your furniture and little feet during high-energy play. The smooth gliding mechanism works beautifully on hardwood, tile, and even short carpeting, making it a reliable rainy-day solution. Since this pack includes two LED-equipped balls, the fun doesn't stop when one needs a break, and the flashing lights add a great visual element to low-light play sessions. It is a smart, kinetic way to keep kids moving without the chaos of a traditional soccer ball indoors.

Serious players who are tired of constant re-tying during intense shifts need these Elite Hockey Prolace waxed laces immediately. I tested these out and the wax coating makes a massive difference in how they grip the eyelets, ensuring your skates stay locked in throughout the entire game. The 108-inch length provides plenty of material for various skate models, and the white color with black specks offers a sharp, professional aesthetic that stands out on the ice. With a three-layer anatomical design simulating skin, fat, and muscle, the tactile feedback is impressively realistic. You get everything from Hegar needle holders to twenty packs of suture thread, all tucked into a compact carrying bag that makes it easy to study anywhere. It is a comprehensive, battle-tested setup for anyone prepping for residency or clinical exams.

Can a practice pad actually bridge the gap between silent drills and real kit feedback? The Offworld Percussion Invader V3RED aims to do exactly that by providing a tactile experience that feels significantly more responsive than your standard rubber slab. I spent some time testing the rebound, and the integrated red rim adds a layer of utility that most pads lack, allowing for more realistic rimshot practice. It is a specialized tool designed for drummers who are tired of the 'dead' feeling of cheaper alternatives. While it sits at a higher price point than entry-level pads, the build quality suggests it is meant to be a long-term staple in a serious percussionist's setup rather than a disposable accessory.

Why let a single nick in your steel ruin an entire season of performance? These Qchengsan blade covers are a massive upgrade over basic fabric soakers because they actually tackle the two biggest threats to your skates: moisture and impact. The water-resistant Oxford fabric keeps the exterior dry, while the absorbent terrycloth lining works overtime to pull moisture away from the metal to prevent rust. What really sets these apart is the wide, cut-resistant nylon bottom, which allows you to walk on concrete surfaces without shredding your protection. With reinforced polypropylene web bands to stop chipping and three distinct sizes to ensure a snug fit, these guards are a professional-grade essential for hockey players and figure skaters alike.

Because they are crafted from high-quality vulcanized rubber in the Czech Republic, you get a consistent glide and predictable bounce that cheap alternatives simply cannot replicate.
