Best Nu-Set in 2026

The NU-SET Lock is a vital replacement component for RV owners looking to maintain a weather-tight seal on their roof vents. This two-piece kit includes a 5-1/4 inch diameter base and a matching cover that reaches a total height of 3 inches once fully installed. It is a straightforward, no-frills solution designed to fit standard vent setups without unnecessary complexity. You will need to have your own hardware on hand for the installation, as the unit features six pre-drilled screw holes at the base but does not include mounting screws. For a budget-friendly accessory, it provides a clean, white aesthetic that blends seamlessly with most recreational vehicle exteriors while ensuring your vent remains properly shielded.

Setting up your campsite at dusk becomes much less frustrating when your power connections are neatly tucked away behind a clean, professional-looking barrier. I tested this NU-SET deluxe round hatch to see if it could handle the heavy lifting of high-capacity RV life, and it performs admirably. The 3-1/4 inch inner diameter is specifically designed to accommodate large 50amp power cords, which is a massive upgrade over smaller, restrictive access points. While the outer diameter measures roughly 4-1/2 inches to ensure a stable fit, the 1-inch cord opening on the door provides just enough clearance for a smooth connection. It is a simple, effective piece of hardware that brings a much-needed sense of order to your exterior electrical setup.

The NU-SET Lock delivers serious peace of mind through its unique interlocking dual-bolt design. Unlike standard hardware, this deadbolt utilizes two hardened steel throw bolts that work together to make prying or jimmying the door significantly more difficult. The zinc alloy die-casting casing feels substantial in your hand, and the brass-colored finish holds up well against the elements. I was particularly impressed by the inclusion of a tamper-resistant shutter guard and a 5-pin cylinder, which adds an extra layer of pick resistance. It fits standard door thicknesses between 1-3/8" and 2-3/8", making it a versatile upgrade for most residential entryways. Since it is designed and assembled in the USA, you can feel confident in the structural integrity of your front door security.

Walking through your front door after a long evening out feels much more secure when you know a heavy-duty deadbolt is standing guard. I tested this NU-SET single cylinder latch and was impressed by the solid feel of the zinc alloy die-cast steel casing. The brass-colored finish doesn't just look elegant. It's built to resist tempering and weathering, which is vital for exterior hardware. It utilizes a 5-pin keyed cylinder for improved pick resistance, and the spring-loaded brass throw bolt ensures the door locks automatically for that extra layer of night safety. Installation was straightforward on my standard door thickness, and having the option for keyed-alike or master-keyed setups makes it a versatile choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home security without a massive headache.

Upgrading your home's curb appeal shouldn't mean juggling a heavy keychain every time you walk through the front door. The NU-SET Fremont combo solves this headache by providing a coordinated entry knob and single cylinder deadbolt that are keyed alike, meaning one single key handles both locks. The Oil Rubbed Bronze finish adds a sophisticated, high-end touch to any exterior door, while the hardware feels substantial in your hand. Installation is straightforward for standard door thicknesses, and the adjustable backset ensures a much smoother setup process. It is a practical, American-assembled solution for anyone looking to streamline their home security without sacrificing style or convenience.

You are pulling into a remote campsite for the night, and that nagging feeling of vulnerability regarding your trailer's security starts to set in. This NU-SET combo kit provides an immediate sense of relief by combining a heavy-duty king pin collar hasp with a dedicated disc trailer lock. The aluminum body is surprisingly robust for its size, offering a reliable layer of defense against unauthorized hitching. Because of its universal design, it slides onto most 5th wheel kingpins without the headache of custom fitting. It even comes with two keys, so you aren't left stranded if one goes missing during a trip. For a piece of security hardware at this price point, it offers a straightforward, effective way to protect your rig while you sleep.

Most people assume a heavy padlock is enough, but the real security lies in how much of the shackle you can actually hide. The NU-SET round laminated padlocks utilize a shrouded design specifically to minimize shackle exposure, making them a much tougher target for bolt cutter attacks than standard models. These 2.75-inch locks feel incredibly substantial thanks to the hardened steel shackle and dual ball locking mechanism that resists prying. I was particularly impressed by the weatherproofing. The vinyl cover keeps the laminated steel protected from the elements, which is vital for outdoor door hardware. Since they use a 5-pin Kwikset keyed cylinder, you get a level of pick resistance that is rare for bulk hardware packs. It is a professional-grade solution for anyone needing reliable, USA-assembled security in bulk.

The NU-SET Tustin Series is a top-tier budget pick for anyone looking to upgrade residential or light commercial entryways without breaking the bank. I was particularly impressed by how much flexibility this lever offers during installation. The adjustable latchbolts transition smoothly between 2-3/8" and 2-3/4", which saves a lot of headache when dealing with older door prep. Whether you are working with a wood door or a metal one, the hardware accommodates thicknesses from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" with ease. The antique brass finish adds a touch of classic character to the entryway, and having the template included makes the DIY process much more straightforward. It is a solid, dependable piece of hardware that punches well above its weight class in terms of utility.

You might hesitate to trust a multi-pack hardware bundle for your home's primary security, but the NU-SET Tustin Series makes a compelling case for both style and utility. This four-pack provides a cohesive look across multiple entry points, featuring an elegant Antique Brass finish and straight, defined edges that elevate a standard door. The setup is surprisingly versatile, accommodating standard door thicknesses and offering an adjustable backset to fit various installations. I found the keyed-alike functionality particularly convenient, as it eliminates the headache of carrying a massive keychain. While it functions as a Grade 3 equivalent, the combination of the single cylinder deadbolt and the smooth-operating entry lever offers a reliable, decorative solution for anyone looking to refresh their exterior hardware without a massive renovation budget.

Real estate professionals and vacation rental hosts demand a reliable way to hand off keys without the constant back-and-forth of physical meetups. The NU-SET Lock Box solves this headache with a rugged, black powder-coated metal casing that stands up to the elements. I was particularly impressed by the patented hanging shackle design, which means you can secure it anywhere without drilling holes or messing with extra hardware. The interior is surprisingly roomy, easily swallowing up multiple keys or even a couple of credit cards. Because the combination shackle can be unlocked independently from the faceplate, it offers a level of versatility that standard lock boxes usually lack. It is a heavy-duty, USA-assembled solution for anyone needing secure, portable access control.

Any RV owner struggling with a sweltering cabin during summer heatwaves or a freezing interior in the winter needs this Camco vent insulator immediately. I was impressed by the sheer density of the insulation. It features a full 2.75 inches of foam designed specifically to block heat transfer through your skylight. It fits standard 14-inch vents perfectly, making it a seamless addition to your setup rather than a clunky afterthought. Unlike thinner covers that degrade quickly, this one feels durable enough to handle regular use, yet it remains incredibly easy to store when you aren't camping. A massive plus for hygiene is that the entire cover is machine washable, so you can easily keep it fresh after a dusty trip. It is a simple, effective way to regulate your temperature and save on energy.

Why should you settle for a stuffy, humid RV interior just because the weather turned sour? The Maxx Air Black Vent Cover solves this dilemma by allowing you to keep your roof vent open for ventilation even during a downpour. I found the high-density polyethylene construction to be incredibly rugged, featuring a one-piece design that feels built to withstand years of sun exposure thanks to its UV protection. It fits perfectly over standard 14" x 14" vents, ensuring that stale air, smoke, and cooking odors escape while rain stays firmly outside. Just keep in mind that this isn't intended for use with high-powered ventilators, but for standard setups, it provides the constant airflow necessary to prevent heat build-up and musty smells.

Owning a vintage RV with a weathered Jensen vent is a recipe for moisture headaches unless you swap in this Camco replacement. I found that the impact-resistant polypropylene construction provides much more peace of mind against heavy rain or debris than the original aging plastic. The reinforced center bar is a standout detail, adding a level of structural stability that prevents the lid from flexing or feeling flimsy during high winds. Because it arrives pre-assembled, you won't spend your afternoon wrestling with tiny components. You can simply swap out your old 14-inch x 14-inch unit and get back to your trip. It is a straightforward, rugged solution for anyone trying to maintain a pre-1994 setup without breaking the bank.

The Camco RV Vent Lid stands out because its impact-resilient polycarbonate construction makes it virtually unbreakable during normal use. If you have ever dealt with cracked or brittle vent covers after a heavy storm or a stray branch, this upgrade is a total game-changer for your rig. It is designed to fit 14" x 14" vents, specifically catering to older Ventline models produced before 2008 and Elixir styles from 1994 onwards. I love that it arrives pre-assembled, which saves a massive amount of time during the installation process. The kit even includes rust-resilient mounting hardware, ensuring that your setup stays secure and corrosion-free for the long haul. It is a rugged, reliable shield for your RV ventilation system.

A cracked or missing vent cap can turn a weekend camping trip into a stressful battle against odors and debris. This Camco replacement is the exact fix you need to restore your plumbing system's integrity without needing a toolbox or a professional plumber. The spring tension attachment mechanism is the real standout here, allowing for a quick and easy installation that snaps right into place. Built from quality materials designed to withstand the elements, this beige cap blends seamlessly with standard RV setups. It is a straightforward, reliable solution for anyone looking to maintain their vehicle's plumbing system with minimal effort and a very reasonable price point.
