Best Oklahoma Joe's in 2026

Any serious pitmaster who invests in a heavy-duty smoker needs to stop letting the elements dictate the lifespan of their equipment. The Oklahoma Joe's Longhorn Outdoor Grill Combo Cover is a non-negotiable shield for your investment, specifically engineered to wrap perfectly around the unique footprint of the Longhorn combo unit. I was impressed by the dual-layer construction, utilizing a heavy-duty 300D and 250D polyester blend that feels substantial enough to withstand real weather. There is no frustrating assembly or guesswork involved here. You simply pull it over your setup and you are protected. It provides a rugged, weather-resistant barrier that keeps dust, rain, and debris away from your cooking surfaces without any extra hassle.

Most pitmasters settle for small, inefficient fuel loads that require constant monitoring, but this heavy-duty basket changes the entire rhythm of a long cook. Designed in the USA, this original Oklahoma Joe's component is built from rugged stainless steel to withstand the intense heat of an offset smoker without warping. The generous dimensions allow you to load enough charcoal to cook all day long, which is a massive relief when you are managing a low-and-slow brisket. It fits perfectly into several popular models like the Highland, Longhorn, and Bandera series. Beyond the performance boost, the design makes cleanup surprisingly simple after the embers die down. It is a straightforward, durable upgrade that ensures your fuel management is as professional as your technique.

This Oklahoma Joe's drip bucket is a rugged, essential utility for any backyard pitmaster looking to manage grease runoff effectively. Built with long-lasting metal construction, it feels substantial enough to handle the high-heat environment of an offset smoker without warping. The weather-resistant black paint coating is a smart touch, ensuring the bucket holds up against the elements during outdoor cooking sessions. With a 6.3-inch diameter and a 2-quart capacity, it offers a generous volume to catch drippings, meaning you won't be constantly emptying it mid-cook. It is a straightforward, functional piece of hardware that fits most offset setups perfectly, making cleanup much less of a headache after a long smoking session.

Oklahoma Joe's has essentially solved the mess and heat dilemma for backyard pitmasters with this highly functional disposable BBQ glove kit. This set is a total game-changer for anyone who loves pulling apart tender brisket or handling heavy trays of vegetables without the cleanup headache. Because the nitrile gloves are powder-free and latex-free, they feel comfortable against the skin and are completely food-safe for direct contact with your ingredients. The real genius, however, lies in the inclusion of two cotton glove liners. By layering these reusable, machine-washable liners under the nitrile exterior, you gain a critical thermal barrier that makes handling hot food significantly safer. It is a thoughtful, comprehensive setup for under ten dollars that keeps your hands protected and your prep work hygienic.

The Oklahoma Joe's Analog Temperature Gauge offers rugged stainless steel durability for any serious pitmaster. Replacing a broken or inaccurate thermometer is a common necessity, and this replacement piece makes the fix straightforward. It features a premium stainless steel construction that stands up to the intense heat of a smoker without warping or degrading. I found the 13/16 inch opening compatibility to be a versatile fit for most standard BBQ setups. Because it reads temperatures accurately in Fahrenheit, you can stop guessing and start cooking with precision. The included wing nut ensures a secure, stable installation, making it a reliable, no-nonsense upgrade for your outdoor cooking gear.

Oklahoma Joe's Natural Cotton Butchers Twine is the ultimate pitmaster's secret for maintaining perfect meat shapes during long smokes. I found that using this unbleached, biodegradable cotton makes a massive difference when you need to truss a stuffed turkey or secure a pork shoulder after wrapping it in butcher paper. The 300-foot length provides plenty of runway for multiple cooks, and the center-pull ball design is a total game-changer for organization. It prevents that frustrating unravelling mess in your prep area, allowing for a quick, manual pull right when you need it. Whether you are tying up meat roll-ups or securing a brisket, this twine handles the heat without compromising food safety.

Pitmasters often struggle with dull, flimsy blades that can't handle the heavy lifting of a large brisket or the precision needed for trimming fat. The Oklahoma Joe's Blacksmith set addresses this exact gap by providing a curated trio of essential tools: a dedicated brisket knife, a boning knife, and a versatile utility knife. During testing, the full-tang construction stood out, as the riveted handles offer a level of stability and strength that cheap, stamped knives simply lack. The grey stainless steel blades paired with the striking black and orange handles make these feel like professional-grade gear rather than basic kitchen utensils. It is a practical, rugged solution for anyone serious about outdoor cooking and meat preparation.

Picture your backyard setup during a slow Saturday afternoon as you prepare a tender pork shoulder or a tray of chicken thighs for the smoker. This two-pound bag of Oklahoma Joe's apple wood chips is exactly what you need to infuse that distinct, fruity sweetness into your meats. Because these are all-natural wood chips, they provide a clean burn that works seamlessly whether you are using a dedicated smoker or upgrading your standard electric, gas, or charcoal grill. With 179 cubic inches of aromatic wood, you have plenty of fuel to maintain that gentle, flavorful smoke profile that makes poultry and pork truly stand out. It is a simple, reliable way to elevate your outdoor cooking game without any unnecessary complexity.

Outdoor cooks often struggle with carrying heavy-duty cutlery that can handle both massive brisket cuts and delicate vegetable prep without switching tools. The Oklahoma Joe's Blacksmith set solves this dilemma by combining a heavy-duty cleaver and a precise chef knife into one versatile package. The full-tang carbon steel construction, secured with heavy-duty rivets, provides the rugged stability needed for serious meat processing. I particularly liked the 7.5-inch rounded blade design. The integrated dimples are a clever touch that prevents stubborn meat from sticking to the steel while you work. With its ergonomic raised handle and included holster, this set feels like a professional-grade kit designed for the demands of backyard barbecue and patio cooking.

Rain-soaked metal and debris-filled smoke stacks can ruin a weekend barbecue before it even starts. This custom-designed cover from Oklahoma Joe's solves that problem by providing a precision fit specifically tailored for the Highland reverse flow smoker. The heavy-duty polyester fabric feels substantial, and the internal PVC coating adds a necessary layer of waterproofing against wind, snow, and heavy downpours. One of the cleverest design choices is the Velcro attachment that allows you to cover the secondary smoke stack if it isn't in use, preventing it from collecting standing water. At 69.25 inches long, it wraps the unit securely, ensuring your investment stays shielded from the elements and dust throughout the off-season.

Most people assume a grill mat is just a sacrificial layer for grease, but the Oklahoma Joe's XL version actually functions as a structural safeguard for your expensive outdoor living spaces. I was particularly impressed by how this mat refuses to curl at the edges, a common frustration with cheaper outdoor accessories that tend to warp after a single rainstorm. At 80 by 40 inches, it provides an expansive footprint that covers more than just the footprint of the unit itself, offering a massive safety zone for food spills and stray charcoal. Whether you are running a high-heat gas grill or a heavy smoker, this mat stays perfectly flat regardless of the weather, making it a reliable piece of patio insurance.

Serious pitmasters who refuse to sacrifice heat retention for temperature monitoring absolutely need this grommet kit in their tool kit. Instead of leaving your smoker lid cracked open or running wires through messy gaps, this kit provides a professional, direct-access feed for your temperature probe cables. The included drill bit and instructions make the installation process straightforward, even if you aren't a seasoned handyman. I love that the silicone is food-grade and heat-resistant, ensuring it survives the intense environment of a cook chamber without degrading. Because the grommets are flexible, they create a tight seal that prevents heat loss while protecting your delicate probe wires from damage. It is a small, affordable upgrade that makes monitoring your cook significantly more precise and efficient.

Your backyard brisket deserves more than just a generic heat source. It needs the nuanced complexity of a true competition-grade smoke. I put this Oklahoma Joe's blend to the test, and the combination of hickory, cherry, maple, and oak creates a sophisticated flavor profile that elevates everything from heavy beef cuts to delicate vegetables. Because these are 100% all-natural food-grade pellets, you aren't dealing with chemical additives that ruin a clean taste. The burn is impressively steady, leaving behind very little ash, which makes the post-cook cleanup significantly less of a chore. Whether you are using the full bag or mixing it with other woods for a custom profile, these pellets deliver a consistent, sweet, and smoky punch every single time.

Wisps of smoke escaping from your smoker lid can ruin a perfectly timed brisket, but this fiber-wool gasket kit provides the airtight seal you need to regain temperature control. As a genuine Oklahoma Joe's accessory, it is designed specifically to integrate with models like the Highland, Longhorn, and Combo series. The high-temperature resistant material is incredibly durable, ensuring it won't degrade under the intense heat of the firebox or smoking chamber. Because it comes in a generous fifteen-foot roll, you aren't stuck with a pre-cut piece that might fall short. You can simply measure and cut exactly what your specific setup requires. It is a straightforward, essential maintenance item for anyone looking to keep their reverse flow or rider smoker performing at its peak.

After weeks of use testing various ways to optimize heat retention, I realized that upgrading your existing setup is often more effective than buying a brand-new unit. This modification kit from Oklahoma Joe's targets the three most common pain points for offset smoker owners. The fifteen-foot fiber-wool gasket kit is a lifesaver for sealing temperature leaks, while the stainless steel firebox allows for all-day fuel capacity without constant reloading. I also found the two-piece door latch kit incredibly versatile, as it works equally well on both the main smoker chamber and the firebox lid. It is a manual, straightforward way to breathe new life into your backyard cooking rig and ensure your temperature stays steady throughout long smoke sessions.

Offset smoker enthusiasts are the only people who truly understand the frustration of reaching deep into a hot pit without losing your sauce coverage. This Oklahoma Joe's sauce mop solves that reach problem with a long handle designed specifically for those deep smoker chambers. Unlike traditional mop heads that shed annoying cotton fibers directly into your brisket, this version uses specialized silicone bristles. The custom bristle design is actually quite clever, as it manages to hold a massive amount of sauce while ensuring an even application. When you are finished with your cook, you can simply pop the head off and toss it in the dishwasher, which makes the post-BBQ cleanup much less of a chore.

The Oklahoma Joe's Highland Reverse Flow Smoker masters heat distribution through a clever four-baffle system that ensures your brisket doesn't end up with hot and cold spots. This setup guides smoke through the entire 900-square-inch cooking surface, providing a much more consistent flavor profile than traditional offset smokers. I really like how customizable the layout feels. You can move the smokestack and even remove the baffles to suit your specific cooking style. The heavy-gauge steel construction feels incredibly rugged, and the large stainless steel fuel basket makes managing your wood much easier. Between the porcelain-coated grates and the dedicated ash clean-out door, this unit is built for serious pitmasters who value both control and ease of maintenance.

Serious backyard pitmasters who refuse to compromise on grate hygiene need the Oklahoma Joe's Blacksmith Combo Grill Brush in their tool kit immediately. This isn't just another flimsy wire brush. It is a specialized dual-action system designed for every stage of the cleanup process. I found the versatility particularly impressive, as the steel wool head tackles scorched residue on hot grates while the nylon head provides a safer way to scrub once things have cooled down. The integrated stainless scraper blade is a lifesaver for those stubborn, burnt-on bits that standard brushes simply glide over. With its ergonomic handle and replaceable heads, this heavy-duty tool feels built to last through countless cookouts, making the post-grill chore significantly less frustrating.

You might wonder if adding another heavy piece of metal to your setup is actually worth the extra storage hassle, but this dual-purpose tool changes the math entirely. The 18-inch carbon steel surface acts as a high-performance griddle for breakfast or smash burgers, then transitions into a pizza steel that holds heat like a dream. Because it is seasoned steel, it develops a non-stick patina that actually improves your cooking results the more you use it. I particularly like the integrated grease channel and side walls, which keep the mess contained rather than letting it drip into your coals. While it is precision-engineered for the Blackjack Kettle and Bronco Drum, it fits comfortably on any grill over 18 inches, making it a versatile upgrade for most backyard setups.

You might wonder if a handful of metal brackets is really worth adding to your BBQ arsenal, but the Oklahoma Joe's Flex Bracket Kit turns a standard cooking chamber into a highly customizable workstation. After testing the setup, the real value lies in the versatility of the double-slotted stainless steel brackets. Because they offer adjustable height options, you aren't stuck with a single rigid layout. You can actually tailor the spacing to fit everything from delicate peppers to heavy ribs. The kit includes five brackets and a nickel-plated steel multi-purpose rack that feels sturdy enough to resist corrosion over long smoking sessions. It effectively eliminates the frustration of running out of vertical space when you are trying to manage multiple types of meat at once.

Your backyard smoker shouldn't be at the mercy of a sudden frost or a blistering summer heatwave. I put this Oklahoma Joe's Highland jacket to the test to see if it actually holds up under real-world conditions, and the build quality is impressive. The silicone-coated fabric combined with fiberglass insulation and an aluminum liner is heavy-duty enough to handle temperatures up to 700°F. By trapping heat inside the cooking chamber, it doesn't just protect your investment from the elements. It actually improves fuel efficiency by helping you maintain consistent temperatures throughout the day. The medium-grey aesthetic looks sharp on the patio, especially with the branded logo patch, making it feel like a custom component rather than an afterthought.

Most backyard enthusiasts settle for thin, flimsy plastic sheets that tear after a single season of heavy rain. The Simple Houseware heavy-duty cover changes that dynamic by utilizing a rugged 600D polyester fabric designed to withstand much more than just a light drizzle. During my testing, the material felt incredibly substantial, offering genuine protection against UV rays, dust, and wind. It fits most major grill brands perfectly, and the inclusion of two-inch wide fastener straps on both sides ensures it won't blow away during a storm. Maintenance is also refreshingly simple. You don't need a washing machine, just hose it down and let the sun do the rest. It is a reliable, all-season shield for your outdoor cooking setup.

I found that the 600D polyester fabric feels substantial and provides genuine defense against UV rays, rain, and wind. It is specifically tailored for smaller two-burner grills, measuring 32 inches wide by 24 inches deep, though you must remember to fold your side tables down before fitting it. The inclusion of integrated handles and wide one-inch fastener straps ensures the cover stays anchored even when the weather gets rough. Maintenance is incredibly straightforward. Instead of worrying about delicate fabrics, you can simply hose it down and let the sun do the drying work.
