Best Raeside in 2026

Raeside Crampons offer a specialized 11-tooth design that solves the common problem of lightweight children slipping on frozen paths. Most adult traction devices are too heavy or aggressive for smaller feet, but these mini-spikes are specifically engineered for US sizes 1-5 to ensure a smooth, natural walking gait. The combination of high-strength steel and a super-elastic plastic frame provides the necessary toughness to bite into icy surfaces without being cumbersome. I love how lightweight they are, making them easy for a child to carry in a backpack for unexpected slush. While you should definitely supervise the initial fitting to ensure they are worn properly, these are a fantastic way to keep kids active and safe during winter hikes or snowy walks.

Whether you are ice fishing or trail running, the welded stainless steel chains prevent snow buildup while remaining flexible enough to toss into a pack.
