The biting chill of a snowy hill disappears the moment you grip the rubber handles of the RYDR Snow Runner. This tri-ski design is built for pure downhill adrenaline, allowing kids aged six and up to carve through everything from light powder to hard-packed trails. I was particularly impressed by the control offered by the dual foot brakes and the steering wheel, which give young riders much-needed confidence during high-speed runs. It is a rugged, high-speed piece of gear that turns a standard sledding trip into a legitimate racing experience.

The RYDR Molded Snow Sled delivers massive downhill thrills thanks to its expansive, two-rider capacity. I found the XPE core construction particularly impressive because it remains flexible and durable even when the temperature drops significantly. Instead of feeling like you're sliding on a flat piece of plastic, the contoured top helps lock you into place, which is a lifesaver when you're picking up speed. The dual sets of injection-molded handles feature clever ridges and grooves, giving beginners a much-needed sense of security. While the sled is heavy-duty enough for extreme racing, it stays surprisingly lightweight, and the included tow rope makes dragging it back up the hill much less of a chore than carrying it.

Why settle for a jarring, bone-rattling ride on a hard plastic saucer when you could glide on a cushion of air? The slick underbelly is a standout, designed to fly over fresh powder without the frustrating tendency to dig in and stall.
