These belt blanks were cut out of buffalo bend leather. This makes the belt strip strong and durable!

This leather is dyed in a process called aniline dying. Aniline dye is a water-soluble synthetic dye that doesn't have any insoluble pigments. This is a form of dying that requires naturally high quality leather, without any corrected grain.
