Best Superstroke in 2026

After weeks of use on the green, the difference in stroke consistency provided by the SuperStroke Traxion Tour is immediately apparent. This grip utilizes a unique pistol shape and a no-taper design to ensure your hands stay synchronized throughout your entire motion. The tacky polyurethane outer layer feels incredible, especially when paired with the Cross-Traction surface texture that prevents slipping during tricky weather conditions. Because it is constructed from lightweight EVA foam, you get a massive amount of feedback without adding unnecessary weight to the clubhead. It effectively minimizes grip pressure, allowing for a smoother, more controlled roll on every putt. Whether you are fighting humidity or just looking for better tactile response, this grip delivers a premium, stable feel.

The moment your hands wrap around the Traxion Tour, the advanced surface texture provides an immediate sense of tack and tactile feedback that standard grips simply lack. SuperStroke has refined their legendary feel by introducing a unique parallel design, which creates a uniform lower hand profile to help you minimize grip pressure. This is a game-changer for maintaining a consistent putter head path throughout your stroke. I was particularly impressed by the integrated Spyne Technology, which keeps your hand positioning repeatable under pressure. Because it features the Tech-Port system, you can easily add CounterCore weights to engage your larger muscles for even more stability. At 90 grams, this synthetic grip feels substantial without being cumbersome, making it a professional-grade upgrade for any serious putter.

The SuperStroke Legacy 3.0 Midnight Yellow Putter Grip is a tour-proven powerhouse that delivers the stability professional golfers crave. As the most popular model on the tour, this grip carries a massive pedigree, backed by five worldwide victories in the last year alone. It is the exact choice used by pro Jason Dufner, which tells you everything you need to know about its performance under pressure. At 60g with a 1.30-inch offering, it provides a substantial feel that helps quiet those pesky wrist movements during a stroke. Since it is fully USGA approved, you can swap it onto your favorite putter without worrying about legality. If you want to play with the same equipment that dominates the leaderboard, this Midnight Yellow design is a top-tier contender.

After weeks of use on the practice green, the difference in stroke stability becomes impossible to ignore. The SuperStroke Traxion Tour isn't just a standard replacement. Its unique parallel design creates a uniform lower hand profile that actively works to minimize grip pressure. This helps keep your putter head path much more consistent during those high-pressure short putts. I was particularly impressed by the advanced surface texture, which provides much better tactile feedback than the original models. The integrated Spyne Technology ensures your hand positioning stays repeatable every single time, while the ability to add Tech-Port accessories like the Counter Core weight system allows you to really dial in your stability using larger muscle groups.

The first thing you'll notice when sliding your hands into this grip is the immediate tactile response from the Traxion Control texture. Those X-shaped treads on the sides and bottom aren't just for show. They provide a level of tack and sensory feedback that makes the putter feel like an extension of your arms. Because of the patented No Taper technology, the lower hand profile stays uniform, which really helped me quiet my hands and stop over-gripping during pressure putts. I also found the Spyne Technology ridge incredibly helpful for consistent hand placement, ensuring the face stays square at impact. Plus, with the Tech-Port integration, you can easily customize the balance of your stroke using various counter-weighting accessories.

Adding weight to your grip is actually the secret to stabilizing your stroke. While most golfers try to lighten their equipment to gain speed, the SuperStroke CounterCore Slim 2.0 uses a 50G back-weight to do the exact opposite. This clever bit of engineering shifts the focus from your hands to your larger muscle groups, forcing a much smoother pendulum motion through the ball. The patented no-taper design is a game-changer for consistency, ensuring your grip pressure remains even from top to bottom. Whether you utilize the included weight to fine-tune your stability or play it slim without the extra mass, the 580 core provides a professional feel that makes the putter feel like a natural extension of your arms.

Most golfers assume a softer grip means sacrificing control, but the SuperStroke Cross Comfort proves that tactile feedback and stability can actually coexist. I found that the tacky polyurethane outer layer provides an immediate sense of security in the hands, while the firm rubber inner core prevents the twisting that often ruins a swing. The standout feature is definitely the X-style surface pattern, which creates extra traction points to help you square the clubface more naturally during your transition. It feels incredibly responsive without being overly mushy, allowing for faster swings without losing that essential connection to the club. It is a surprisingly sophisticated piece of equipment for such an accessible price point.

You are standing over a crucial approach shot on the eighteenth green, feeling that familiar tension in your hands that usually leads to a closed clubface. Swapping in this SuperStroke Cross Comfort grip changes that entire physical sensation. The oversized jumbo profile and round shape provide a massive amount of stability, which helps you square the face more naturally during your swing. I found the polyurethane material to be incredibly tacky, meaning you don't have to over-grip to maintain control, even when your swing speed increases. At a lightweight 52 grams and a 10.50-inch length, it integrates seamlessly into your club setup without feeling bulky or unbalanced. It is a simple, effective way to boost traction and confidence when the pressure is on.

You might think swapping out a perfectly fine grip is an unnecessary expense, but the SuperStroke Cross Comfort changes the math on club feel. After testing the X-style surface, the most immediate difference is the tactile consistency. It doesn't feel slick or uneven no matter where your hands land. The multi-layer design is clever, pairing a tacky polyurethane outer layer for extreme traction with a firm rubber core that prevents the grip from feeling mushy during a swing. Because of the minimal taper and oversized profile, I found it much easier to maintain even hand pressure, which naturally helps in squaring the clubface. It is a specialized piece of kit that prioritizes stability without sacrificing that premium, soft-touch sensation.

After weeks of use on the practice green, the impact of the SuperStroke Traxion Flatso 17 on my stroke consistency is undeniable. The standout feature is definitely the Traxion Control texture. Those X-shaped treads on the sides and bottom provide a level of tack and sensory feedback that makes the club feel like an extension of my hands. Because of the patented No Taper technology, I found myself naturally relaxing my grip pressure, which helped quiet my hands during the stroke. The Spyne technology also works wonders, using that embossed ridge to guide my hand placement so I can square the face more reliably at impact. It turns a finicky part of the game into a much more repeatable process.

Inconsistent hand pressure often leads to an open clubface at impact, but the SuperStroke Cross Comfort Midsize Grip addresses this through specialized Taper Control technology. During testing, the X-style surface texture felt incredibly reliable, providing a non-slip experience that didn't sacrifice feedback. The multi-layer construction is the real winner here. You get a soft, tacky polyurethane outer layer for extreme traction, backed by a firm rubber inner core that maintains stability during high-speed swings. Because the profile features minimal taper, it helps even out your grip pressure, allowing for a more natural squaring of the clubface. It is a sophisticated, tour-inspired upgrade for any golfer looking to stabilize their connection to the club.

You get a soft, tacky outer layer for immediate feedback, backed by a firm rubber core that prevents the club from twisting in your hands. The Traxion Control technology uses X-shaped treads in high-sensory zones to maximize feel, while the Spyne Technology ridge acts as a tactile guide for repeatable hand placement. Because of the minimal taper design, your hand pressure stays remarkably even throughout the swing, making it much easier to square the face naturally. It is a professional-grade tool that turns grip stability into a measurable advantage on the course.
