Best The Noodley in 2026

Toddlers who are terrified of the dark often struggle to settle down without a comforting presence nearby. The Noodley Rainbow Lites plush dog solves this bedtime anxiety by combining a huggable, soft white furry companion with a soothing, multi-colored glow. I found the color-changing feature particularly impressive. You can lock it into a single calming hue like deep blue or purple, or let it cycle through red, green, white, pink, and orange for a magical effect. The paw-mounted button makes it incredibly easy for small hands to operate, and the ten-minute auto-shutoff is a brilliant touch that ensures the light doesn't stay on all night once they've drifted off. With its floppy blue ears and cute tail, it feels less like a gadget and more like a genuine childhood friend.

You might wonder if a pair of glowing laces is just another fleeting novelty, but The Noodley LED shoelaces actually deliver a surprising amount of utility and fun. These 45-inch laces transform standard sneakers into vibrant, multi-colored light shows featuring seven different hues like teal, purple, and orange. I found the three light modes—including a flashing alternating color setting—to be incredibly bright and easy to operate via the simple press button. Beyond just looking cool for dance costumes or cosplay, they serve a practical purpose for keeping kids visible during nighttime trick-or-treating or evening walks. They even come ready to go with pre-installed CR2032 batteries and extras, though you'll want to keep them away from water to protect the electronics.

Most novelty toys end up at the bottom of a toy box after ten minutes, but these glowing gloves actually serve a dual purpose as both a party accessory and a functional safety tool. The pink cotton material is surprisingly versatile, offering enough stretch for a comfortable fit while remaining lightweight enough for summer nights or warm enough for winter trick-or-treating. I found the six different lighting modes particularly engaging, especially the way the soft, changing lights can provide soothing sensory stimulation for children with autism. Whether they are being used as jazz hands for a dance party, ninja cosplay gear, or even a makeshift flashlight during a camping trip, the brightness is impressive. Plus, having extra CR2016 batteries included in the box means the fun doesn't have to stop the moment the initial charge runs out.

Most parents assume glow-in-the-dark toys are just for dark rooms, but The Noodley LED gloves actually function as practical, high-energy sensory tools. Whether your child is using them as makeshift flashlight gloves during a backyard camping trip or as a way to engage through rhythmic dance, these small-sized gloves offer impressive versatility. I was particularly struck by the variety of light patterns. With five colors and six different flashing modes, they keep kids aged 4 to 12 constantly entertained. They transition seamlessly from Halloween costume accessories to sensory toys for autistic children, making them a surprisingly multi-functional addition to a toy box. Plus, the inclusion of bonus extra batteries is a thoughtful touch that keeps the party going without immediate interruption.
