The THORINSTRUMENTS Nautical Handheld Pirate Brass Telescope is a stunning piece of maritime history that feels remarkably authentic in your hands. This isn't just a static ornament. It is a fully functioning brass telescope wrapped in classic black leather that actually works. What really elevates the presentation is the dedicated wooden storage box, which features a beautiful brass anchor detail on the lid. Because each piece is hand-crafted by Indian artisans, you might notice slight variations in color or weight, but those nuances only add to its rustic, vintage charm. It serves as a high-quality centerpiece for a collector's shelf or a unique thematic decoration for a coastal-themed room.

After weeks of use on my bookshelf, this nautical accent piece has become a focal point of my maritime-themed decor. The combination of polished brass and glass creates a sophisticated aesthetic that feels much more substantial than its weight suggests. I particularly love the visual contrast provided by the pink sand flowing through the three-minute timer, which adds a soft pop of color to the antique brass finish. The integrated compass is a thoughtful touch that elevates this from a simple desk accessory to a genuine collector's item. At just under five inches tall, it fits perfectly in small spaces without losing its commanding presence. It is a delightful, compact piece for anyone looking to add a bit of seafaring charm to their home office or study.

While it is designed primarily for visual impact in theatrical settings, the dimensions—a 67 cm inner circumference with 20 cm ear-to-ear width—ensure a substantial fit. Just keep in mind that the helmet arrives on its own, so you will need to source a separate stand if you want to display it prominently on a shelf.
