Best Tomy in 2026

The Pop Up Super Mario Family and Preschool Kids Board Game turns every game night into a high-energy adventure thanks to its interactive pop-up mechanics. This TOMY classic is a fantastic way to introduce younger children to tabletop gaming because it scales beautifully with three distinct modes: Classic Play, Coin Collection, and Team Play. Beyond just the excitement of seeing Mario pop up, it serves as a clever developmental tool that sharpens color recognition and decision-making skills in preschoolers. It is incredibly easy to set up, making it a go-to option for quick play sessions or holiday gifting. Whether you are playing with two players or a small team, the rules remain simple enough for four-year-olds while staying engaging for older fans of the franchise.

The bright green tractor and cheerful melodies of 'Old McDonald Had a Farm' immediately grab a toddler's attention the moment this set is unboxed. This officially licensed John Deere playset is a fantastic way to blend tactile play with early developmental milestones. I found that the interactive element of placing the farmer in the driver's seat to trigger music keeps little ones engaged, while the matching game with the four removable animals helps sharpen cognitive skills. It is a complete, ready-to-play experience right out of the box since the three AAA batteries are included. Whether they are pushing the tractor across the floor or matching animals to their specific spots, the whimsical design makes it a standout addition to any playroom.

Can your living room handle a sudden prehistoric ambush? The TOMY Jurassic World Pop Up T-Rex brings that high-stakes tension straight to your coffee table with a mechanic that keeps everyone on the edge of their seats. It is a classic suspense game where players take turns sliding colored dinosaur bones into a mysterious crate, never quite knowing which slot will trigger the predator's jump. The sudden spring of the T-Rex from the top provides a genuine thrill that makes it a hit for kids aged four and up. Because the crate resets each round, the tension builds anew every time, turning a simple tabletop activity into a survival-style competition for two to four players. It is a perfect, fast-paced choice for families looking for a little nerve-jangling excitement.

Toddlers transitioning to solid foods need tools that actually respect their developing motor skills rather than frustrating them. This 16-piece set from TOMY is a game-changer for parents of little ones aged 9 months and up because it prioritizes ergonomics over aesthetics. The textured handles feature specific finger grooves that make an easy grasp much more intuitive for tiny hands. I noticed the design choices are incredibly intentional. The spoons are deep enough to actually hold food, and the fork tines are rounded to ensure safety during those messy self-feeding milestones. It is a colorful, practical starter kit that turns mealtime from a struggle into a successful learning experience for your baby.

Most toy sets focus on static display, but this Pikachu and Cubone duel set turns collecting into an actual physical activity. Instead of just sitting on a shelf, these two-inch figures are designed to be launched into battle via a clever mechanical pop. You can trigger the action by pressing a button or by simply tossing the Poké Ball against a hard surface to watch the Pokémon spring into action. It is a surprisingly tactile way to play that helps younger trainers develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through repetitive, engaging movement. With the included belt clip for portability, it transforms a standard figure collection into a mobile battle arena that feels much more dynamic than a typical figurine set.

The First Years Take and Toss Snack Containers are a total lifesaver for parents dealing with the inevitable mess of toddler snacking. These 4.5-ounce containers are built to handle the daily chaos of life with a 6-month-old plus, offering a level of durability that keeps up with constant use. I love that the interchangeable lids are completely valve-free, which makes cleaning them a breeze rather than a chore. The set includes six containers to keep a steady rotation going, and the inclusion of a bonus travel cap is a thoughtful touch for outings. Being BPA-free and dishwasher safe provides that essential peace of mind when you're managing mealtime on the go.

Whether you are playing solo or competing with up to three others, the frantic energy makes it a standout centerpiece for any family game night.

Standard toy trucks often lack the mechanical complexity needed to keep young enthusiasts truly engaged in role-play. The TOMY John Deere Big Farm Semi solves this by turning a simple vehicle into a fully interactive logging operation. I was impressed by how the operator seat actually connects to the movable crane via a grapple hook, allowing a child to sit and manage the loading process. It is a sturdy, engaging way to encourage gross motor skills for toddlers aged 18 months and up, provided they stay under the 60-pound limit. It is essentially a mobile play station for the driveway.

Most toddler ride-ons are flimsy plastic shells that lack character, but this John Deere pedal tractor brings genuine farm-inspired excitement to the backyard. We found that the authentic coloring and licensed details immediately elevate it from a simple toy to a centerpiece for imaginative play. It is built for rugged outdoor use, featuring an adjustable seat that grows with your child and a functional steering wheel that makes them feel like a real operator. Instead of focusing on complex transformations, this toy leans into high-speed kinetic energy with wheels that flash brighter and faster the quicker they roll. The oversized, durable tires feel incredibly sturdy, making it easy to transition from indoor carpet play to the outdoor sandbox without worrying about damage. I was particularly impressed by the smooth, noiseless rolling action, which keeps playtime peaceful rather than chaotic. Can a piece of farm equipment actually spark a child's imagination through mechanical movement? The TOMY John Deere Rotary Cutter proves that it can by bringing realistic agricultural motion to the playroom. What really sets this apart from static plastic models is the articulated wing system. You can fold them up for easy transport or deploy them for a full mowing session. It turns a standard floor layout into a dynamic high-speed rail system that actually responds to how you play.

Most wrestling figures are designed to sit on a shelf, but the TOMY Finn Balor Smash Brawler is actually built to take a beating. Instead of just posing him, you get to engage in active combat using a clever twist-and-release mechanism. By pulling back the arms and twisting the body, you can trigger a punch that makes the battle feel surprisingly kinetic for a four-inch figure. The iconic ring gear design looks sharp, and the inclusion of a separate connector makes it easy to set up head-to-head matches with other superstars. It is a compact, high-energy way to bring WWE matches to life without needing a massive ring setup, making it perfect for quick skirmishes.
