Best Acrylic Back Cushions in 2026

Most people assume outdoor cushions are destined to fade into a dull, weathered mess within a single season, but the Xena Brick cushion challenges that expiration date. I was impressed by how the Sunbrella acrylic fabric feels substantial rather than flimsy, offering a level of abrasion resistance that actually holds up to heavy lounging. The recycled polyester fiberfill provides a surprisingly supportive loft that doesn't immediately flatten out, and since it's reversible, you effectively double its lifespan. It is rare to find a piece that balances environmental consciousness—using GREENGUARD Gold certified fabrics and recycled bottles—with such rugged, weather-repellant performance. Whether you are dealing with UV exposure or unexpected rain, this cushion maintains its vibrant brick tone without the typical fear of mold or mildew.

Most people assume outdoor cushions are just glorified sponges that rot after one season, but this Eddie Bauer collaboration changes that expectation entirely.
