Best Cotton Craft Bathroom Towels in 2026

A 430 GSM waffle weave makes POLYTE's bath towel feel substantial without the soggy heft of terry cotton. The technique takes a moment to adjust to: instead of scrubbing yourself dry, you pat, and the microfiber does the rest. At 30 by 60 inches it covers noticeably more skin than the standard 27-by-54 bath towel, and the satin trim keeps the edges looking tidy. Since it's a microfiber blend, it sheds water quickly once hung up, which cuts down on that damp, musty smell between washes. It also packs small enough for the gym, the pool, or a camping trip. One honest caveat: the top layer of fibers sits a little loose, so keep it clear of zippers and hooks.

The difference in these Madamelique towels and the flat, thin set of hand towels you get from most big box stores is they are made out of shuttle-loomed Turkish cotton. The towels are 18x40 inches so plenty of space for your hands, face or hair but only 4.5 ounces each so adding a couple to your gym bag or suitcase does very little to your weight. The 100% cotton is pre-washed and therefore they come soft rather than hard. They are also GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified which authenticates the organic claim. I've had one in the bathroom and another as a tea towel and the tasseled edge is fine and doesn't fray. They also need to be fade and shrink resistant because gray cotton does fade and these ones keep the color.

"Skinny People Are Easier to Kidnap" is a great towel for the guest that likes to read out loud from the kitchen accessories right next to the sink. What you really get is a nice and large 28" x 28" square of 100% cotton flour sack towel with screen print non-toxic ink from Moonlight Makers printed right in their downtown Asheville studio. There's more here than just a joke. It is a little stiff at first like most flour sack cotton. A few washes and you've got yourself a really thirsty towel. Dry your dishes, hang over your oven handle, or give to a friend that'll enjoy the eating cake joke. The gray has a softer look than the white against farmhouse style decor.

Hang onto a dish towel that brings a smile to your face! The gray Sourdough Heartthrobs print gets the oven handle spot. This print is a screen printed by hand with food safe ink. The pun is sharp and doesn't fade or run in to the cotton fabric after months of laundering. The 28"x 28" size is perfect for throwing over your bowl of rising dough. Or to dry a sink full of dishes. The flour sack 100% cotton towel only gets softer and more absorbent after every wash. Locally made in small batches in Asheville. Feels like an item instead of the throwaway you'd find at a big box. This is a hostess gift people remember.

Moonlight Makers' nashville kitchen towels are both functional and decorative. You get the utility of a powerhouse kitchen towel and the good looks of a poster. This original guitar illustration is printed with water-based ink using screen printing (read: not clip-art) in their asheville studio. 100% flour sack cotton, 28-inch square size lets you cover lots of counter space and absorb spills fast. The more you wash this towel, the more absorbent it gets. Easy to tuck into a drawer (not too heavy or bulky), and the gray color looks right in the guest bathroom or the dish rack. Indulge on this small, useful item if you're feeling nashville love.

Oven handle permanent. The GOUDA VIBES ONLY towel cheese pun delights weeks later, and screen-printed text remains fresh and sharp (grey!) after many cycles through the wash. Moonlight Makers hand cuts each Gouda Vibes towel from 100% cotton flour sack. The towel measures 28 x 28" - big enough for a pile of dishes or to cover your dough in a proofing bowl. Stiff and thirsty at first, but becomes a lot more absorbent after a few rounds. Small batches of hand-printed towels made at their Asheville studio. This towel doesn't feel like something you'd find at the big-box store. This is the kind of gift that'll get a chuckle before it gets you a dish-wipe.

I Knead Carbs. Here's a kitchen towel you will want to have on your countertop. The Moonlight Makers 28" x 28" generous size flour sack cloth is 100% cotton and will take up all the room your baking sheet full of rising dough needs. It only gets softer with each wash! The screen print uses food safe ink that is good for months of washes and will not fade or bleed. Hand screenprinted in small batches in their Asheville studio. That's why they can have a pun that is so much better than that store stuff. This kitchen towel is the one you are going to be using every day and giving away all the time.

Moonlight Makers turned wiping down your kitchen counter into this exciting and fun activity. I mean do it for this alone. They got the "Be the Dolly you wish to see in the world" awesome! Not too cheesy and punny. Love the grey color of this cotton flour sack material. Will definitely feel the quality over those low quality (multi-pack) whimpy towels. It's a little stiff at first (for flour sacks). But it gets a little softer. Absorbs well after a few washes. Can put it over your shoulder or on towel bar (28"x28"). Tons of space. Use as hand towel in bathroom. Or great housewarming gift (wrapped up).

When you think puns, don't think dirty dishes. But these two worlds have met and mingled successfully on this flour sack towel. The "Olive Me Loves Olive You" screen print design lays nice and flat and straight on the 28"x28" cotton square, printed with non-toxic ink. In fact, it looks more like an old-faithful kitchen classic than a novelty item that's only funny for one laugh. Handmade in Moonlight Makers' Asheville studio. That gray color keeps it from being cheesy, even when you leave it out on an open shelf or hanging in your bathroom. After a few washes, it'll be much more effective at sucking up water than when you first got it. I'll burn calories while laughing. I'm taking that excuse.
