You might assume that a pair of gloves at this price point won't stand up to a real Minnesota blizzard, but N'Ice Caps actually delivers on the heavy-duty promise. I was impressed by the integration of 3M Thinsulate, which provides genuine warmth without feeling overly bulky for active kids. The design is surprisingly thoughtful, featuring curved fingers for better ergonomics and a grippy palm that makes holding sled handles or snowballs much easier. To prevent that annoying feeling of snow sliding down your arms, they included a 2.5-inch knitted cuff designed to tuck perfectly under a jacket sleeve.
