Papyrus didn't phone it in with these birthday candles — the neon glitter finish instantly dresses up a plain frosted cake that would otherwise look like an afterthought. You get 24 candles, each roughly 3 inches tall, spread across blue, purple, green, yellow, orange, and pink, so there's enough color variety to cover a standard round layer cake without repeating the same shade too often. The glitter catches the light and gives the whole dessert a party-ready sparkle that photographs well, sitting a clear step above the plain white candles people grab at the last minute. They're easy to place, they look festive from every angle, and the count leaves you room to spare. If presentation matters as much as the cake itself, these pull their weight.

Papyrus turns the humble birthday candle into a party centerpiece. This number 1 comes in a cheerful red polka-dot finish that pops against buttercream, and at 3.25 inches tall it stands out without towering over the cake. The toothpick base pushes in easily and holds steady, while the wick lights cleanly and burns down at a reasonable pace — enough for a round of singing and a photo.
