Modern party planners seeking a sophisticated, moody aesthetic over traditional rainbow colors need this VITAM AMO number candle immediately. This isn't your standard grocery store wax. The black finish features a specialized metallic luster that makes a cake look intentional and high-end rather than just celebratory. Standing at a substantial 6 inches, it has enough presence to anchor a dessert centerpiece without being swallowed by a large cake or looking lost on a tray of brownies. I love how versatile the design is, as it works just as well for a sleek wedding anniversary as it does for a milestone birthday. The warm gold flame provides a classic contrast against the dark wax, creating a beautiful visual moment when you finally light it.

A striking metallic luster catches the light the moment you pull this hot pink number 5 candle out of the packaging. Unlike those tiny, underwhelming birthday candles that get lost in a large cake, this six-inch version stands tall and commands attention. The color is incredibly vibrant thanks to a custom recipe, making it a perfect centerpiece for a 5th, 15th, or even a 75th birthday celebration. I love how versatile it is. While it looks stunning atop a frosted cake, the size makes it sturdy enough to pop into a celebratory deep dish pizza or lasagna. The flame casts a classic warm gold glow that lasts anywhere from two to ten minutes, providing that perfect, high-impact moment for photos and wishes before the party continues.

Slender little birthday candles have nothing on VITAM AMO's glitter gold number eight. Standing about six inches tall, it's the kind of candle you notice before the cake even reaches the table — vintage-style, coated in glitter, and finished with a metallic luster that grabs whatever light is in the room. The size is the real story: tall enough to read from across a party, sturdy enough to press into a cupcake, a brownie, if you're feeling bold, a celebratory lasagna. Pair it with other numbers from the brand to spell out any age or date. Expect roughly two to ten minutes of burn time depending on the setting, with a warm gold flame. For milestone birthdays, it earns its spot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about Scented Candles before you buy.
Look for natural waxes like soy, beeswax, or coconut wax. These burn cleaner and more evenly than paraffin, which is a petroleum byproduct that can release soot.
Single-wick candles are better for smaller spaces and delicate scents, while multi-wick candles create a larger melt pool, making them ideal for big rooms and faster scent throw.
On your first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the container. This creates a 'memory burn' that prevents a hole from forming down the center.
Black smoke is usually caused by a wick that is too long. Always trim your wick to about 1/4 inch before every single lighting to ensure a clean, smokeless burn.
Scent throw refers to how effectively a candle disperses its fragrance. 'Cold throw' is the smell when the candle is unlit, while 'hot throw' is the strength of the scent while burning.
Burn time varies by wax type and size, but a standard 8oz soy candle typically lasts 40–50 hours. Always check the manufacturer's specific burn time estimates.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always place it on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable objects, and out of reach of children or pets.
