Most anglers settle for shallow-running lures that fail to reach the predatory strikes hiding in the depths, but these Akuna deep diving crankbaits change the game. After testing these custom-designed lures, the first thing I noticed was how the integrated lips provide a consistent, built-in action that makes them incredibly easy to cast even in windy conditions. It is a reliable, specialized tool for anyone looking to target larger species in deeper water.

I spent some time testing the Holographic Glitter Shad version, and the way it mimics a wounded minnow on the surface is incredibly convincing. The internal rattling sound provides that much-needed acoustic vibration to draw fish in, while the one-inch lip allows for surprisingly quick diving action when you need to change depths. The body effects and colors are genuinely exceptional, catching the light in a way that looks natural rather than plastic. It is a highly effective, budget-friendly option for any tackle box, especially since you can grab quantity discounts through the size selection menu.

The custom-designed lips are engineered to trigger an immediate, built-in action the moment they hit the water, making them incredibly easy to cast even in tricky conditions. Because they feature internal rattles, they create a much-needed sonic signature that draws in pike, bass, and salmon from a distance. It is rare to find a six-pack offering this much specialized utility for under fifteen dollars, especially when the design focuses so heavily on the mechanics of the dive. While they are currently seeing high demand and temporary stock shortages, the combination of vibration and depth makes them a serious addition to any tackle box.
