Best Delong Lures Fishing Lures in 2026

Most anglers struggle with cut bait that falls apart too quickly, but this Real Fish Sanddab offers a much more reliable alternative for serious bottom fishing. At a substantial 10 inches, this lure mimics the look and feel of a natural sanddab so effectively that many professional boat anglers actually prefer it over traditional bait. The soft plastic construction is a game-changer. It has a smooth skin that allows predators like lingcod and halibut to sink their teeth in and hold on tight. Whether you are jigging, trolling, or casting, the realistic tail movement creates a strike-inducing action that is hard to ignore. Even if a fish manages to bite the tail off, you can easily swap in a large grub to keep the momentum going.

The saltwater mist is hitting your face as you troll along a rocky reef, waiting for that unmistakable heavy tug on the line. These Real Fish Sanddab jigs are a total game-changer for targeting lingcod and halibut because they mimic natural prey better than almost any cut bait I’ve used. The 10-inch soft plastic body has a lifelike texture that encourages fish to clamp down and hold on tight, which is vital when you're fighting a heavy grouper. I love how versatile they are. You can jig them, cast them, or even shake them to trigger a strike. Even if a predator bites off the tail, you can easily rig a large grub to the stinger hook and keep fishing without losing momentum.

The Real Fish 7" Glide Bait delivers an incredibly lifelike profile that makes it a standout choice for targeting big bass, musky, or striper. What impressed me most during testing is the smooth, side-to-side glide action that stays right in the strike zone thanks to its slow-sinking design. At 2 3/4oz, you can easily cast this around rocky points and dropoffs, utilizing a steady retrieve or an erratic walk-the-dog motion to trigger aggressive bites. The Silver Shiner finish uses a real image wrap that looks remarkably authentic underwater. It even comes equipped with sharp VMC hooks, so you aren't left worrying about hardware quality when a trophy fish finally hits.

The Real Fish Kokanee Floater is a heavyweight contender for anglers hunting trophy-sized bass, musky, or striper. At a substantial 6 3/4oz, this 10-inch lure is designed to command attention during a slow, rhythmic swim. The standout feature is the smooth, side-to-side glide action that mimics a wounded fish, which is particularly effective when working it over shallow spawning beds or rocky drop-offs. I was impressed by the realistic rainbow trout profile and the inclusion of Bristol fins, which provide a soft, lifelike feel in the water. It is a specialized tool meant for big water and big fish, offering a level of visual realism that can trigger aggressive strikes in clear environments.

Real Fish Sanddab Jigs are a game-changing addition to any saltwater tackle box, offering a level of realism that often outperforms traditional cut bait. These 4-inch soft plastic lures feature a green pumpkinseed color and a smooth skin texture that mimics a natural sanddab perfectly. During testing, the lightweight 3/8 oz body responded beautifully to various retrieval methods, whether I was jigging, trolling, or simply shaking the line. The soft material is a standout feature because it allows predatory fish like halibut, lingcod, and grouper to sink their teeth in and hold on tight. Even if a fish bites off the tail, the design is clever enough that you can swap in a large grub to keep the action going. It is a versatile, durable option for anyone targeting bottom dwellers.

Most anglers settle for messy cut bait that degrades quickly, but these Real Fish Sanddabs offer a cleaner, more effective way to fill your limit. I found that the soft plastic material provides a realistic skin texture that actually encourages fish to hold on tighter during a strike. Even if a predator bites the tail off, you can easily swap in a large grub to keep the jig in the fight. It is a professional-grade solution that consistently outperforms traditional bait.

Big predatory fish often ignore standard lures, but the Real Fish S-Defender thrives by looking more like a meal than a piece of plastic. This 4.5-inch jerkbait uses a multi-jointed design to create a serpentine, lifelike S-curve motion that mimics an injured baitfish perfectly. I was particularly impressed by the scale detail. They use real images of baitfish wrapped around the body to trigger those aggressive reaction bites. At 1/2oz, it features a narrow profile and a slow sink rate, making it an ideal choice for trolling or ripping through the water to target curious Kokanee, Bluegill, or Bass. It essentially bridges the gap between a hard lure and a living organism, giving you a massive advantage when the big ones are hungry for a substantial meal.

Most anglers settle for generic plastic imitations that lack soul, but the Real Fish Pedigree Glider actually mimics the biological nuance of a living prey item. This 7-inch swimbait utilizes a high-definition real image wrap that makes the Male Bluegill pattern incredibly convincing when it enters the strike zone. Because it is a slow-sinking lure with a 5-6 foot ROF, you can effectively target rocky points and drop-offs where big predators hide. The multi-jointed design allows for a smooth, wide side-to-side glide on a slow retrieve, yet it can also transition into an erratic walk-the-dog action if you treat it like a jerkbait. Weighing in at 2.5 ounces and equipped with sharp VMC #2 hooks, it provides the substantive weight and hardware needed to trigger aggressive strikes from musky, striper, or bass.

Apex predators like Musky and Striper demand high-fidelity presentation, and the Real Fish Pedigree Glider delivers exactly that. This 7-inch swimbait features a stunningly realistic Blueback Herring profile that mimics a wounded baitfish with uncanny accuracy. What really sets it apart is the versatility in the water. You can pull it in with a slow, wide side-to-side glide or switch to an erratic walk-the-dog retrieve to trigger aggressive strikes. Because it is a slow-sinking lure with a 5-6 foot range of run-off, it is perfect for targeting rocky points and dropoffs where the big fish hide. Weighing in at 2.5 ounces and equipped with sharp VMC #2 hooks, it feels substantial and reliable when you finally hook into a monster.
