Most people assume a heavy-duty magnetic mount needs to be a bulky piece of hardware, but these DeYoungArbeit mounts prove that extreme strength can be incredibly discreet. Despite measuring only a fraction of an inch thick, the rare earth Neodymium magnets pack a massive 56lbs of rated holding power. I was particularly impressed by the soft silicone coating, which prevents the metal-on-metal contact that usually leads to unsightly scratches on high-end firearms or tools. Whether you are securing a handgun to a bedside nightstand or mounting heavier rifles in a truck, the installation is straightforward with just two heavy-duty screws. It is a versatile solution that works just as well for kitchen knives or garage wrenches as it does for tactical gear.
