Best New Year Hanging Ornaments in 2026

Most holiday collectors settle for generic baubles that lose their charm by next season, but this Hallmark Keepsake ornament is designed specifically to anchor a long-term tradition. As the second entry in the Sweet Decade series, this piece features a charming, glittery snowman accented by festive gumdrop numbers that clearly display 2021. Artist Tammy Haddix brings a professional touch to the design, ensuring the aesthetic feels intentional rather than mass-produced. At roughly 3.35 inches wide, it holds its own on a crowded branch without feeling bulky. I especially like that it arrives in its own dedicated box, which makes it a ready-to-go gift or a much easier piece to tuck away safely until next December.

Can a single piece of glass truly capture the essence of a specific year? The Swarovski Annual Edition 2022 Ornament attempts to do exactly that, blending world-renowned precision with a deeply sentimental design. I was immediately struck by the interplay of light within the 3.9 x 3.1-inch sphere, where 41 white crystal facets surround a delicate gold-tone crystal angel. It feels less like a standard holiday decoration and more like a sophisticated keepsake. The gold-tone lamé ribbon and the engraved metal tag add a level of refined elegance that makes it suitable for weddings or significant milestones beyond just Christmas. Whether you are a dedicated collector or looking for a meaningful gift, the inclusion of a dedicated keepsake box ensures this sparkling piece remains a protected part of your family traditions for years to come.
