Most parents end up wasting money on skates that kids outgrow in a single season, but the Monarch Boys Adjustable Ice Skates solve that growth spurt headache instantly. These skates are built for the realities of recreational skating and public sessions, offering a level of longevity that standard fixed-size skates lack. I was particularly impressed by the EZ Push button system, which allows the small size to expand from an 11J to a 2 with ease. Inside, the warm woven lining and deluxe padding make them comfortable enough for long lessons on the ice, while the stainless steel hockey-style blades provide reliable performance.

Aspiring figure skaters and dancers who are tired of choosing between finger dexterity and impact protection need these gloves in their gear bag immediately. I found the material to be surprisingly sturdy yet elastic, making them easy to pull over hockey or figure skates without a struggle.
