Best Lithonia Lighting Outdoor Lighting in 2026

Govee's 16.4-foot RGB strip turns a plain room into something that reacts to you — voice commands, app taps, or whatever happens to be playing on the speakers. The built-in mic picks up music and the lights pulse along with it, which is far more entertaining than it has any right to be. With 150 LED beads spread across the run, output stays even and bright enough for bedrooms, kitchen cabinets, porches, and gaming setups, while 64 scene presets plus a DIY mode cover everything from movie night to holiday decor. Setup is genuinely simple: wipe the wall clean and dry, press the adhesive down, then add the five support clips where the strip might sag. One honest caveat — keep it indoors, and prep the surface properly or the tape gives up.

Govee packs a genuinely surprising amount of color into 32.8 feet of strip lighting. The RGBIC design is the real story here — instead of one flat color across the whole run, you get multiple hues glowing on the same line at once, which turns a plain bedroom wall into something that looks intentionally designed. Everything is driven through the Govee Home app over Bluetooth, so you're adjusting brightness, picking from 16 million colors, or tapping through 64-plus preset scenes without hunting for a remote. The 11 music modes lean on a built-in high-sensitivity mic that actually reacts to what's playing. Worth knowing: it's Bluetooth-only, with no Wi-Fi or Alexa support, so it suits a single room rather than a whole-home setup. Wipe the surface clean and dry before sticking — dust and hair will cost you adhesion.

Most smart outdoor lighting feels like a gimmick until you actually try to customize the ambiance for a specific event. The addlon smart string lights move past the basic 'on or off' functionality by giving you total creative control over 15 dimmable LED bulbs. Using the app, I could cycle through 16 million colors or switch between warm and cold white tones to match the exact mood of a backyard dinner or a festive party. The built-in microphone is a standout feature, allowing the lights to dance in sync with your music for an immersive experience. Because the bulbs are made of thicker, shatterproof plastic and feature commercial-grade insulation, you don't have to worry about them breaking or failing during a rainstorm.

Most people assume that decorating a large room requires a complex electrical setup, but this 100ft Keepsmile kit proves that massive light coverage can be surprisingly effortless. By splitting the length into two 50ft rolls, the setup becomes much more manageable for lining ceilings or running lights under bed frames. I found the dual control options—using the dedicated smartphone app or the included remote—to be a huge convenience for switching modes mid-party. The high-sensitivity audio sensor actually manages to catch the rhythm of the music, creating a dynamic dance effect that transforms a standard bedroom into a festive space. While you have to be careful to keep these indoors since they aren't waterproof, the strong adhesive and flexible design make the installation process feel seamless and quick.

Most outdoor lighting setups force you to choose between simple white light or a chaotic rainbow, but these Banord smart string lights actually give you granular control over every single bulb. The integration with Tuya Smart or Smart Life apps is seamless, allowing you to transition from a warm 2200K glow for dinner to a vibrant, music-synced party mode via Alexa or Google voice commands.
