Busy households with messy eaters need the SLKQG Burgundy Red Placemats to stop worrying about constant table scrubbing. These aren't your flimsy, thin mats. The vertically woven PVC and polyester blend feels thick and substantial under a dinner plate. I found the heat resistance works well for standard warm dishes, provided you keep things under 80°C to be safe. Because they feature a tight weave with minimal gaps, they do a great job of shielding your tabletop from oil and water spills. While you might need a quick brush and some soapy water for stubborn stains due to the tiny pores in the weave, the machine-cut edges are smooth and professional. They arrive completely flat, making them an instant, stylish upgrade for any dining setup.
