I found that the Slice 10400 excels in warehouse or home office settings where safety and longevity are the priorities. The standout feature is the Zirconium Oxide ceramic blade, which stays sharp up to ten times longer than traditional metal alternatives and won't rust. I particularly liked the three-position manual slider. You can fully extend the blade for heavy boxes, set it to a semi-protruding position, or hide it completely for safe storage. Because the blade only protrudes a half-inch, it is purpose-built for foam, vinyl, and packaging rather than heavy-duty construction. It is a stylish, durable tool that replaces roughly twenty metal blades, making it a smart long-term investment for frequent unpackers.
