Best Lunarable Shower Curtains in 2026

Material Composition and Texture

When browsing Lunarable sets, the first decision factor is the fabric type. Most sets fall into two categories: polyester-based fabrics and heavy-duty PEVA/EVA liners. For the outer curtain, look for high-density polyester. This material is preferred because it resists wrinkling and holds vibrant printed patterns better than natural fibers. A high-quality polyester curtain should have a 'drape' to it—meaning it hangs straight and doesn't cling to your legs due to static electricity. If you are opting for a set that includes a waterproof liner, ensure the liner is thick enough to prevent 'curtain cling,' a common frustration where the wet liner sticks to your skin during a shower.

Pattern Scale and Bathroom Dimensions

Since Lunarable is known for its diverse range of prints—from botanical florals to geometric modernism—you must consider the scale of the pattern relative to your bathroom size. In a small powder room, a large-scale, busy floral print can make the space feel claustrophobic. Conversely, in a large master bath, a tiny, micro-print might look washed out and lose its visual impact. A good rule of thumb is to match the pattern scale to the room's volume: larger patterns for larger rooms, and more delicate, spaced-out motifs for tighter quarters. Always check if the set provides a visual 'anchor' for the room or if it serves as a subtle backdrop.

Set Completeness and Utility

The value of a 'set' lies in its ability to simplify your shopping experience. When evaluating a Lunarable set, determine exactly what is included. Some sets are strictly the decorative curtain, while others include a waterproof inner liner. If the set includes a liner, check the material. PEVA is generally preferred over PVC as it is more eco-friendly and lacks the harsh chemical odor often associated with cheap plastics. Additionally, consider whether the set includes hooks or rings. While many people prefer to use their own high-end hardware, having a complete kit is a major advantage for quick installations in rental properties.

Maintenance and Longevity

A shower curtain is a high-moisture item, making it a magnet for mildew and soap scum. When selecting a set, look for descriptions that mention machine-washable properties. High-quality polyester sets can typically be tossed in a standard wash cycle, which is much more convenient than attempting to scrub a heavy plastic liner by hand. To extend the life of your set, look for reinforced hemmed edges. Frayed edges are a sign of lower-quality construction and will lead to the curtain losing its shape after just a few washes. A well-constructed set should maintain its color vibrancy and structural integrity even after multiple laundering cycles.
