The Spode Blue Italian Daisy Bowl is a masterclass in heritage design, centered around a stunning 18th-century Imari Oriental border. This 10-inch porcelain piece isn't just a decorative centerpiece. It is a functional workhorse built for the realities of a modern kitchen. I found the scalloped edges add a sophisticated touch that elevates anything from a casual pasta night to a formal dinner party. Because it is crafted for everyday living, you don't have to baby it—it handles the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and even the oven with ease. It captures that iconic British charm that has been part of Spode's legacy since 1816, making it a piece that feels both historic and incredibly practical for serving salads or soups.

Most people assume holiday tableware is strictly for formal sit-down dinners, but this Spode rice bowl proves that festive nostalgia works just as well for a casual Tuesday night soup or a quick frozen meal. The iconic forest green banding and classic Christmas Tree design, originally conceived in Stoke on Trent, bring a sense of history to your everyday kitchen routine. At six inches, it is the perfect versatile vessel for everything from sticky rice and chili to ice cream or side dishes during entertaining. Because it is earthenware, you do need to be mindful of how you handle it. Avoid sliding pieces against each other to prevent scratches, but you can rest easy knowing it is fully microwave and dishwasher safe for easy cleanup.
