Best Lightweight Toddler Spoons in 2026

The frustration of watching a baby struggle to balance a flimsy, floppy spoon during mealtime is exactly what the NumNum GOOtensils set aims to eliminate. Instead of fighting with traditional utensils, these spoons feature a thick, contoured handle designed specifically for tiny hands to grip without needing a perfect scooping motion. The set is cleverly divided into two phases: a Stage One spoon that works perfectly for purees and doubles as a teether for sore gums, and a more rigid Stage Two spoon for toddlers transitioning to solid foods. Because they aren't overly flexible, they offer the maneuverability needed for baby-led weaning. They are BPA-free, PVC-free, and dishwasher safe, making them a practical, safe choice for the messy journey of self-feeding.

They are incredibly versatile too. You can toss them in the microwave, freezer, or even use them for a backyard picnic without hesitation.
