Best Numnum in 2026

The frustration of watching a baby struggle to balance a flimsy, floppy spoon during mealtime is exactly what the NumNum GOOtensils set aims to eliminate. Instead of fighting with traditional utensils, these spoons feature a thick, contoured handle designed specifically for tiny hands to grip without needing a perfect scooping motion. The set is cleverly divided into two phases: a Stage One spoon that works perfectly for purees and doubles as a teether for sore gums, and a more rigid Stage Two spoon for toddlers transitioning to solid foods. Because they aren't overly flexible, they offer the maneuverability needed for baby-led weaning. They are BPA-free, PVC-free, and dishwasher safe, making them a practical, safe choice for the messy journey of self-feeding.

The chunky, contoured handles of these NumNum GOOtensils immediately stand out, feeling substantial enough to stay anchored in a tiny, uncoordinated palm. Unlike those flimsy, floppy silicone spoons that collapse under the weight of a bite, these have a rigid build that makes maneuvering much easier for babies practicing their motor skills. This six-piece rainbow set is smartly divided into two developmental phases: the Stage One spoons are perfect for purees and even double as soothing teethers for sore gums, while the Stage Two spoons are built for toddlers tackling soft solids. It is a refreshing approach to baby-led weaning because there is truly no wrong way for a child to grip them. They are BPA, PVC, and phthalate-free, making them a safe, dishwasher-friendly choice for daily feeding transitions.

The numnum Weighted Straw Cup is a top-tier developmental tool for parents navigating the transition from bottles to independent drinking. Unlike standard sippy cups that can hinder oral motor progress, this 7oz cup features a short, narrow, valveless straw with tactile bumps designed to encourage proper lip closure and tongue positioning. The weighted straw is a total game-changer, allowing babies to sip from any angle without the frustration of air bubbles or spills. I love that the removable handles have a non-slip grip for tiny hands, yet can be popped off to fit into stroller cup holders during outings. It is crafted from 100% food-grade silicone, making it incredibly gentle on gums and easy to toss in the dishwasher for quick cleanup.

After weeks of testing this during high-chair mealtime chaos, the numnum silicone bib has become an absolute lifesaver for managing toddler spills. The standout feature is the deep, sturdy pocket that actually stays open to catch falling food, which significantly reduces the cleanup required after self-feeding sessions. I love how the soft, food-grade silicone feels against the skin, and the reinforced buttons ensure it stays put even when a wiggly toddler tries to pull it off. It is incredibly versatile because you can simply roll it up for diaper bag storage or toss it straight into the dishwasher when you are done. Since it is BPA-free and non-toxic, you can feel confident about its safety during those messy transition stages from 6 to 72 months.

You might wonder if a simple silicone cup is actually worth the investment compared to standard sippy cups, but the numnum training cup is designed with much more intention than your average toddler gear. It focuses heavily on developmental milestones, using an A-line interior angle and a weighted bottom to help infants transition to mature swallowing patterns and lip closure. The non-slip ridges are a clever touch, intuitively guiding tiny hands to grip the vessel with both hands. Because it is made of 100% food-grade silicone, it is gentle on sensitive gums while remaining versatile enough for everything from breast milk to thick smoothies. It effectively bridges the gap between infancy and independent eating without the frustration of constant spills.

Watching a four-month-old attempt their first independent sip can be a messy ordeal, but the numnum silicone cup turns that milestone into a controlled learning experience. This little trainer is built with clever non-slip ridges that practically force tiny hands to grip correctly, encouraging the two-handed hold essential for developing motor skills. Because it uses an A-line interior angle and a weighted bottom, it actively fights the inevitable spills that come with baby-led weaning. Beyond just water, I found it incredibly versatile for introducing thicker textures like pureed soups or even smoothies as they grow. It is a thoughtful tool for palate formation and speech development, all while being made of safe, food-grade silicone that won't irritate sensitive gums during those early tasting sessions.

These silicone bowls are built for babies starting at four months, focusing heavily on helping little ones master self-feeding without the constant frustration of overturned dishes. The suction base is remarkably strong on smooth surfaces, though the clever quick-release tab is the real winner for parents because it keeps the release mechanism hidden from curious hands. You can toss them in the dishwasher, microwave, or freezer without a second thought, making them as practical for storage as they are for mealtime. It is a durable, non-toxic kit that genuinely reduces mealtime stress.
