HERB GARDEN FAVORITE: Cymbopogon citratus, aka lemongrass, is an easy-growing herb with fresh lemon fragrance. Adds a bright, citrusy, floral kick to curries, soups, stews, marinades and more! Beautiful in the garden and delicious for Asian-inspired cooking.

10 LEMONGRASS SEEDS PER PELLET: Each multi-seed pellet contains 10 herb seeds. One package of 10 gives you 100 lemon grass seeds total! Lemon grass is a beautiful ornamental and edible herb plant. Grassy plants fill out a walkway with foliage and do well growing in containers. They're a natural outdoor mosquito repellent and great alternative to citronella candles.

PLANTING & HARVEST TIPS: Select a location in full sun with average soil. Mature lemongrass plant height is 36-48"; mature plant spread is 48"; yields 36-48" leaves. Harvest leafy tops when they are about 10-12" tall - great for flavoring teas and soups! Collect stalks at the end of the season before frost, when they are about a ½” in diameter. Only the bottom of the stalk is edible.

Yard long Bean,is a vigorous climbing annual and the plant begins to produce long pods, ranging from 14 to 30 inches, 60 days after sowing. The pods hang in pairs that should be picked for vegetable uses before matured. Yard long Bean is a subtropical/tropical plant.

It is a very interesting plant to grow - you almost need to check/harvest long beans everyday because they grow very quick in warm climates. It is, however, sensitive to the temperature and grows relatively slow in mild/cold environments. Like to grow common beans, it is recommended to rotate the planting locations every year for getting the best results - do not repeat planting at the same spots within 3-4 years. Edible pods are very crisp, tender and delicious.

Long beans are cut into shorter sections and cooked like common green beans. There are many varieties grown in the Orient and they are generally identified by the color of the matured seeds.
