Petals the Unicorn offers a level of tactile sophistication that most mass-produced plushies fail to achieve with their scratchy, cheap synthetic fibers. Instead of a flimsy toy that loses its shape, this 14-inch companion uses an ultra-soft pulled fleece that feels incredibly premium to the touch. I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful engineering in the weighted feet and bottom. It allows the unicorn to sit upright and stay put on a nursery shelf or bed rather than constantly toppling over.
