Aspiring home sommeliers and frequent entertainers absolutely require this set to transform a standard evening into a professional tasting experience. Instead of pouring random glasses, you can use the two wooden paddles to systematically compare everything from a crisp Sauvignon Blanc to a heavy Cabernet Sauvignon. The kit is impressively complete, providing eight 6 oz decanter glasses that fit perfectly into the custom cutouts on the boards. I particularly love the built-in chalkboards on the trays, which allow you to label each sample so you don't lose track of your notes mid-tasting. While the glassware is dishwasher safe for easy cleanup, just remember to hand wash the wooden boards to keep them looking sharp. It is a sophisticated way to host a date night or a themed dinner party without leaving your living room.
