Sanniti Arborio Rice is an Italian risotto rice. It has a high starch content, so it will absorb liquid and remain tender.

Every region of Italy has their own preferred risotto recipe. Use Sanniti Arborio Rice to make risotto Milanese with butter and saffron, or Venetian risotto with squid ink. Another favorite is mushroom risotto, an earthy dish often drizzled with Italian truffle oil. Sanniti Arborio Rice can also be used to make desserts like rice pudding!

The trick to making delicious, creamy risotto is to stir in chicken or vegetable broth intermittently instead of all at once. Add 1 cup of heated stock to arborio rice and wait until the liquid is absorbed before adding the next 1/2 cup. Do this until the amount needed for your recipe is all used up.
