Ice anglers often struggle to trigger bites from finicky panfish when the water temperature drops and activity slows down. The Berkley Powerbait Ice Mayfly solves this by using small appendages that create incredibly lifelike movement in the water. I found the pink shine color to be a standout for visibility, and the design is specifically engineered for a horizontal presentation that mimics natural prey. At 3/4 of an inch, these lures hit a perfect sweet spot. They are subtle enough to fool picky panfish but substantial enough to attract perch and crappie. It is a highly specialized tool for anyone looking to add more realism to their winter jigging setup.

Most anglers assume that a tiny change in color pattern won't impact a catch, but the Fire N Ice aesthetic proves otherwise.
