The set is incredibly versatile, covering everything from quick eggs in the 8-inch fry pan to simmering sauces in the 1.5 or 2-quart pans. While the soft-touch handles feel great and stay cool, you have to be mindful of the heat levels. Sticking to low or medium prevents damage to the non-stick coating. It is a dedicated hand-wash collection, so keep that in mind for your cleanup routine, but for the price, the vented glass lids and BPA-free construction make it a solid foundational kit.
