Most anglers settle for surface lures that merely splash, but the River2Sea WPL90/27 Whopper Plopper creates a disruptive, rhythmic commotion that predatory fish simply cannot ignore. Testing this 3 1/2-inch topwater plug in the Abalone Shad colorway, I was immediately struck by the purposeful, rattle-free action that mimics a wounded baitfish with startling accuracy. The inclusion of two high-strength #4 treble hooks ensures that once you trigger a strike, you aren't losing your prize to a weak connection. It is a specialized tool designed specifically for high-impact topwater presentations.
