Best Safariland Gun Holsters in 2026

Serious duty professionals who demand rapid gear transitions between different rigs will find this Safariland kit indispensable. The combination of the Quick Locking System and the 6075UBL low-ride belt loop solves the common frustration of being tethered to a single mounting point. You can effortlessly move your holster from a belt to a thigh rig using the modular 3-hole pattern, and the included duty receiver plate makes installation a breeze since it mounts anywhere you can drive a screw. I particularly like how the low-ride design drops the holster further from the belt. It significantly improves concealment and prevents that annoying hip bone pressure. It is rugged, passes Level I retention tests, and the durable polymer construction ensures it survives heavy tactical use.

You are navigating a dense tactical environment and realize your holster is sitting just a bit too low, obstructing your movement. This Safariland Drop Flex Adapter solves that exact positioning headache by replacing the standard vertical strap to raise your system height to a custom, comfortable level. The assembly is built from 100% synthetic polymer, making it incredibly rugged for high-intensity sports or duty use. I found the setup remarkably versatile because the mounting holes accommodate up to two different tactical accessories on the thigh plate. With a 2-inch rubber leg strap and an adjustable vertical web strap, it stays locked in place regardless of your leg size. It is a seamless, ambidextrous solution that integrates perfectly with existing duty gear.

Can a holster actually balance rapid deployment with complete concealment? The Safariland 7378 combo aims to solve that exact dilemma by pairing a lightweight nylon build with their signature ALS retention system. During testing, the suede lining felt incredibly smooth, ensuring that draws are quick and free of any friction that might snag or scratch your Glock 17, 22, or 31. It rides remarkably close to the body, which is a game-changer for staying low-profile in everyday settings. The dual configuration of a paddle and a belt loop provides versatility for different gear setups, and the SafariSeven material holds up well against the elements. It is a reliable, no-nonsense option for anyone needing a secure, single-action release without the bulk of heavy duty kydex.

The Safariland 6360 Level 3 Retention ALS Duty Holster is a masterclass in high-security weapon deployment. What makes this piece stand out is the dual-layered defense provided by the Automatic Locking System and the SLS Rotating Hood, ensuring your Glock 22 stays exactly where it belongs until you are ready. I found the mid-ride design to be particularly effective for duty use, as it maintains a slim, compact profile that keeps the firearm tucked tight against your body without feeling bulky. Once you deactivate the releases, the draw is a remarkably smooth, straight-up motion. It is a professional-grade solution that prioritizes both extreme security and intuitive accessibility when every second counts.

You might hesitate to drop over a hundred dollars on a holster when cheaper alternatives clutter the market, but the Safariland basket weave series proves why specialized gear justifies the investment. After testing the mechanics, the dual-layer security is what truly sets this apart. The Automatic Locking System (ALS) ensures your Glock 17 or 22 is seated perfectly every time, while the Self Locking System (SLS) rotating hood provides Level IV retention that feels incredibly secure. Despite the heavy-duty protection, the slim, compact profile prevents the weapon from feeling bulky on your hip. Once you deactivate the releases, the straight up draw is smooth and intuitive, making it a reliable choice for high-stakes environments where gear failure isn't an option.

You are moving through a high-stakes training drill or a demanding duty shift, and the last thing you need is gear that fails under pressure. The Safariland 6360 provides that critical peace of mind by utilizing a dual-layer ALS/SLS retention system that ensures your Glock 17 or 22 stays locked in place until you intend to draw. I found the mid-ride design particularly effective because it sits just above the belt line, offering a balanced feel that doesn't interfere with movement. It is purpose-built for setups featuring a Surefire X300U and a red dot optic, thanks to a specialized protective RDS cover that rotates out of the way during your draw stroke. It is a rugged, professional-grade solution for anyone prioritizing security and speed.

Law enforcement professionals demanding absolute weapon retention and rapid deployment will find this holster to be an industry standard for a reason. I found that the combination of the Automatic Locking System and the SLS hood assembly provides a level of security that is hard to beat during high-intensity movement. The thermal-molded SafariLaminate construction feels incredibly rugged, effectively shielding your handgun and sights from the elements. What really sets this apart is the comfort during long shifts. The lower leg strap rides tight to the body, which aids in concealment and prevents the holster from bouncing. Whether you are mounting it to a duty belt or using the thigh straps, the adjustable vertical and double leg straps ensure a customized, stable fit that stays put when you need it most.
