Maintaining a high-end butcher block requires the right chemistry, and this John Boos maintenance kit provides a professional-grade two-step solution that actually works. I found the process incredibly straightforward: you start with the deep-penetrating Mystery Oil to revitalize the wood fibers, then follow up with the beeswax-infused Board Cream to create a durable moisture barrier. The inclusion of a dedicated round applicator is a total game-changer, making it much easier to distribute the products evenly across large surfaces or smaller wooden utensils without a mess. Since everything is made in the USA from all-natural, NSF-certified ingredients, you can feel confident using these products around your food. It is a complete, reliable system for anyone looking to extend the life of their kitchen's wooden essentials.
