B&M StarShifter is a 3-speed shifter with a straight-line detent shifter, allowing movement between gears without a positive stop, like an OEM shifter. It features a ratcheting function, you just put the shifter down into low gear, pull the trigger up while pulling the shift handle down & it drops into ratchet mode. In this mode, the ratchet function will shift one gear at a time so you cannot over-shift & miss a gear. Also has a reverse lockout which meets NHRA/IHRA safety rules.

Brand New B&M Automatic Detent Sport Shifter, Chome Plated with Black T-Handle & Console, Universal 3 & 4 Speed (Part #80776)

The SportShifter is a great value with the performance look of the MegaShifter, but without the ratcheting function. This detent shifter is our easiest shifter to operate & functions like most OEM shifters, with no positive stops between gears or a reverse lockout feature. To shift out of Park, you simply lift the handle & pull it back into Reverse, then simply move the shifter rearward to forward gears.

To shift back into Reverse, from Neutral you will need to lift the handle & move shifter forward & again lift the handle to move it into the Park position. Features include a textured black mini console that has a chrome top plate with an illuminated gear indicator. Other features include a polished aluminum shift stick with a black T-handle knob & an accordion boot reminiscent of a manual 4-speed, giving your vehicle interior that classic muscle car look.
