Most musicians assume a soft gig bag is enough for local gigs, but your Martin deserves much more than just a layer of foam. This Gator hard-shell case is built like a tank, utilizing ultra-durable plywood wrapped in a rugged Black Telex PVC covering that feels like it could survive years of heavy touring. Inside, the experience is much softer. A thick plush lining cradles the instrument, while the specialized interior dimensions specifically accommodate 000-style bodies. I was particularly impressed by the spacious accessory compartment, which doesn't just store your picks and tuners but also provides crucial extra neck support. Even with the added weight of the wood construction, the ergonomic handle does a fantastic job of balancing the load during transport.
