Best Delong Lures Fishing Lures in 2026

You are casting into a murky riverbed where the smallmouth bass are being notoriously picky, and suddenly, a strike hits that feels more substantial than your usual jig. These Tackle HD hellgrammites are a game-changer for those slow days when natural presentations are the only way to trigger a bite. Because they are built from actual 3D scans of real larvae, the anatomical detail is staggering, and the watermelon red colorway with reflective particles helps them pop even in low-clarity water. The 5-inch soft plastic body moves with a fluid, lifelike shimmy that mimics a living organism rather than a piece of rubber. It is a durable, American-made addition to any freshwater kit that actually stands up to repeated use without fading.

Smallmouth bass and trout anglers facing a tough day on the water need these Tackle HD hellgrammites in their tackle boxes immediately. I was genuinely impressed by how the 3D scanning process translates to the actual texture of the lure. It doesn't just look like a hellgrammite, it moves with that same unmistakable, undulating aquatic rhythm. The 5-inch profile is a sweet spot for freshwater predators, and the Black Purple Flake colorway uses reflective particles that catch the light even when the water gets murky. Because they are crafted from a durable plastic infused with high-quality pigment, you aren't going to be replacing these after a single afternoon of heavy use. It is a reliable, American-made solution for when the standard lures just aren't cutting it.

Tackle HD has engineered a top-tier solution for freshwater anglers targeting finicky predators. These Ned-Mite lures stand out because they aren't just generic imitations. They are built from actual 3D scans of adult hellgrammites to ensure a hyper-realistic presentation. During testing, the durable soft plastic body held up remarkably well against constant water movement and multiple strikes, maintaining that essential tail action that mimics a living critter. Whether you are rigging them for a traditional swim bait setup or using them as a floating ned rig for pressured waters, the versatility is impressive. The Junebug coloration works beautifully in various depths, making this 25-pack a reliable staple for catching everything from bass and trout to catfish and crappie.

The subtle, lifelike suspension of these swimbaits is what immediately sets them apart from standard soft plastics. Because they utilize a proprietary plastic formulation to achieve neutral buoyancy, they hang in the water column with a realism that triggers strikes even when the fishing conditions get tough. I found the 3.5-inch profile incredibly versatile. You can rig them on a jig head for a standalone presentation or use them as a trailer on a spinnerbait to add extra action. Whether you are targeting bass, trout, or walleye in freshwater or saltwater, these lures provide a steady, reliable movement. It is rare to find a Made in the USA kit that offers this much performance and versatility for under ten dollars.

Anglers often face the frustration of losing expensive lures to aggressive strikes or snagging them on underwater debris during long sessions. These Tackle HD skirted grubs solve that problem by offering a massive 70-pack that makes losing a few baits much less painful for your wallet. During testing, the ribbed body and oversized curly tail provided a consistent, vibrating swimming action that remained visible even in murkier water conditions. I found that the 3-inch size is incredibly versatile. You can rig the tail facing up or down on a jig head to completely change the profile for different species like bass, trout, or crappie. Since they are made in the USA from durable, soft plastic, they hold up well through tournament-length use in both freshwater and saltwater environments.

The sun is just starting to peek over the lake as you pull a handful of these Watermelon Red grubs from your tackle box, knowing you won't have to worry about losing your entire stash to a single aggressive bass. These 3-inch skirted grubs are a game-changer for long tournament days because the soft plastic construction is surprisingly durable against the elements. I found that the ribbed body paired with that massive curly tail creates a distinct, vibrating swimming action that really cuts through murky water. Whether you rig the tail upward or downward on your jig head, the motion is consistent enough to trigger strikes from trout, walleye, or crappie alike. It is rare to find a 70-count multipack this cost-effective that still maintains such high-quality movement.

Tackle HD Baby Shad lures provide the high-frequency swimming action that most anglers settle for in much more expensive, specialized soft plastics. I was particularly impressed by how the thin spear tail reacts to even the slightest movement, creating a lifelike vibration that cuts through murky water to trigger strikes. These 2-inch baits are incredibly versatile. You can rig them horizontally on a jig head to target everything from crappie and trout to bass and catfish. Because they are made in the USA with a durable, lightweight plastic construction, they hold up well against the repetitive stress of long tournament days or extended ice fishing sessions. At this price point, having a 40-pack of Monkey Milk colored lures in your tackle box is a total game-changer for any freshwater or saltwater setup.

Most anglers assume that a soft plastic lure needs to sink like a stone to be effective, but the secret to triggering strikes in difficult conditions often lies in suspension. The Tackle HD 8-pack swimbaits utilize a proprietary plastic formulation to achieve a neutral buoyancy that keeps these 4-inch lures hovering lifelike in the water column. I found the Blue Back Herring color to be incredibly versatile, working just as well on a jig head as it does trailing a spinnerbait or rigged for a Carolina setup. Whether you are targeting bass, trout, or walleye, the steady paddle tail action provides the realistic movement needed to fool wary fish. It is rare to find an American-made kit this affordable that doesn't compromise on the durability or action required for serious freshwater or saltwater sessions.

Most anglers assume that high-volume bulk packs mean sacrificing material quality, but these Tackle HD grubs prove otherwise. The Monkey Milk colorway is particularly striking, paired with a ribbed body and a massive curly tail that generates serious vibration even when the water gets murky. I found the 2-inch size incredibly versatile. You can rig them on a jig head with the tail facing up or down to completely change the swimming action for different species. Whether you are targeting bass, trout, or crappie, the soft plastic construction holds up well through long tournament days without tearing easily. Being made in the USA adds a layer of confidence to the durability, making this 100-pack a reliable staple for both freshwater and saltwater setups.

Tackle HD Trout Worms deliver an incredibly lifelike swimming action thanks to their specialized ribbed design. I found that the 3-inch length hits that sweet spot for trout, avoiding the mistake of using oversized baits that often scare fish away. The fluorescent pink color is particularly striking, cutting through murky water to grab attention when clarity is low. What really impressed me during my testing was the durability. The soft plastic is tough enough to withstand long tournament hours without tearing apart on the hook. Being made in the USA, these lures feel like a reliable staple for any freshwater angler's tackle box. At just over five dollars for a 25-pack, they provide a high-performance option for targeting trout in various lake conditions.
