Steel jack stands don't get much more straightforward than these. The forged steel construction and welded frame give the BIG RED pair a solid, confidence-inspiring feel, while the wide pyramid foot base keeps them planted instead of skidding across the garage floor. The multi-position ratchet bar uses a sawtooth design, so you can dial in height anywhere from 11-1/4 to 16-3/4 inches and feel it lock into place, backed by a double locking pawl for extra security. The large saddle makes solid contact with whatever you're supporting. Just know the 3-ton rating suits sedans and lighter cars, not SUVs or trucks. Tested to ASME standards, they're a practical, affordable addition to any home garage.
