Best 1 Phones in 2026

Samsung's Galaxy A16 4G delivers a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and that silky scrolling is the kind of detail you rarely see at this price. The 50MP main camera handles daylight shots with ease, a 5,000mAh battery comfortably clears a full day, and the octa-core chip keeps everyday apps moving. Just know what you're buying: this is a 4G international model built for GSM networks, so it plays nicely with T-Mobile in the States but won't activate on Verizon or AT&T. Splash resistance adds peace of mind, and the bundled 25W charger—while not Samsung-branded—tops things up quickly.

A full year of service and a genuinely modern 5G phone for the price of a nice dinner out is the whole pitch here, and the Galaxy A16 5G mostly delivers. The 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel is the standout — bright, edge-to-edge, and paired with a 90Hz refresh rate that makes scrolling and casual gaming feel far smoother than the price suggests. The 50MP triple-lens setup covers wide, ultrawide, and macro shots, so both landscapes and tight close-ups come out clean, while the octa-core processor keeps everyday apps moving on 5G. Just know it's locked to Tracfone, so you'll activate on that network rather than shopping around.

Five handsets for one base is the whole story here, and it's a good one for anyone whose house swallows a single cordless phone. VTech runs these on DECT 6.0's dedicated 1.9GHz band, so calls stay clean without competing with your WiFi router or microwave, and each handset gives you up to seven hours of talk time. The oversized, widely spaced buttons and backlit screens make dialing painless in a dim hallway, while the 14-minute answering machine, full-duplex speakerphone, intercom, and one-press finder round out the feature list. Best of all, the handsets arrive pre-registered — plug in, power up, and you're calling.

That 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel is the whole reason to step up from the smaller model. With QHD+ resolution and an adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh rate, text stays razor sharp while scrolling feels slippery-smooth, and the roughly 2,600-nit peak brightness means you can actually read it on a sunny sidewalk instead of cupping your hand over the glass. This renewed US-version Galaxy S24+ pairs 256GB of storage with 5G connectivity in a matte Onyx Black finish that shrugs off fingerprints. Renewed at this price is the quiet value play in Samsung's lineup — expect the odd cosmetic scuff, but the display and day-to-day speed feel like new.

The AT&T Trimline is the rare landline that earns its place on the wall purely on charm and reliability. This is the same slim, curvy silhouette that has been hanging in kitchens since 1968, now finished in pink, and it still does the one job that matters: making calls. There's no power brick to lose, because the line itself powers the phone, so a blackout won't cut you off from the outside world. The big-button keypad lights up for dim hallways, and 13 one-touch speed dial keys keep your regular contacts a single press away. Last-number redial, mute, flash, and volume control round out the practical side. At roughly eighteen dollars, it's a small, cheerful upgrade for a home office or bedside table.

The iPhone 15 Plus makes a strong case for skipping the Pro and pocketing the difference. That 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display is the real draw here — big enough for split-screen reading, photo editing, or a full movie on a plane seat tray, and bright enough to stay readable outdoors. The A16 Bionic chip with its 5-core GPU keeps everyday scrolling and gaming smooth, while the 48MP main camera paired with the Ultra Wide delivers genuinely sharp 24MP and 48MP stills plus next-generation portraits with Focus and Depth Control. You also get Dynamic Island, USB-C, Face ID, Emergency SOS and Crash Detection via satellite, and up to 26 hours of video playback. At this price, in renewed condition, it's a lot of phone for the money.

BLKE AIR's mini smartphone is barely bigger than a deck of cards, and that's the whole point. At 3.54 by 1.97 inches, it disappears into running shorts or a small clutch, making it a genuinely handy backup device or a first phone for a kid. Face unlock and dual cameras (5MP rear, 3MP front) punch above the price, and Android 8.1 on a quad-core chip handles WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube fine for light use. Storage expands via MicroSD when built-in space runs tight. Just know the dealbreaker: no SIM support — this is WiFi-only, so it's a companion device, not a daily driver.

Panasonic's five-handset expandable system earns its keep in a busy household the moment the robocalls start. Automated call blocking prompts unknown callers for an access code and disconnects them on its own, and a one-touch button on the handset blocks a number for good. Talking caller ID announces who's on the line in English or Spanish, so you can screen from across the room, while the illuminated keypad and 1.8-inch display stay readable in the dark. The answering machine stores up to 17 minutes of messages, and the Quick-Read counter lets you check at a glance before retrieving from the base or any handset.

Motorola's Moto G Play proves a budget phone can still feel genuinely capable. The Snapdragon 680 keeps apps and streaming running smoothly alongside 4GB of RAM, while the 6.5-inch 90Hz HD+ display and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos make watching videos surprisingly enjoyable. That 50MP Quad Pixel camera pulls in four times the light, so evening shots come out brighter and more detailed than I'd expect at this price. There's 64GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card, and the 5000mAh battery comfortably carries you through a full day of work and play. Add a sleek matte finish with splash protection, and you're getting a lot of phone for under a hundred dollars.

Unlike most earbuds you can't use all day, MAIJOFO's open ear earbuds are pain-free. These skin-friendly arc shaped earplugs fit outside of your ear canal and stay there whether you're running or riding your bike. So you still hear cars and your coworkers in the office but also your music at the same time. It's because these open ear earbuds use 14.2mm graphene driver with an AI chip that delivers deep bass you don't often get with open earbuds. Vocals are clear too. And Bluetooth 5.4 keeps your gaming audio super tight. There's zero lag and no visible lag. The dual silicone mics with CVC8.0+ENC let you take calls on the loud street. You get 8 hours of use per charge and the case adds a lot more battery life. These sweat-resistant earbuds even let you go to the gym. Yeah, it's a lot of earbud.

Cheap phone offerings come with compromises. But the BLU G35 largely avoids those and does the basics right. The 6.5" HD+ Infinity screen is pretty enjoyable for streaming, browsing, gaming. The Octa-Core processor is zippy enough to get around apps without much lag. The dual 8MP camera on the back does a pretty good job at daylight photography and the 5MP front camera is good enough for selfies and video chat. A. I. Face ID is speedy at unlocking the phone with a quick look. The kind of thing you might pay more for on other phones. Just keep in mind it only works for GSM networks (T-Mobile, AT&T, Cricket, Mint). Not Verizon or other CDMA networks. But you get a rugged case and Type-C cable included. A good choice for a first phone, backup phone, or a prepaid plan.

Google Pixel 10 is one of the few smartphones that actually feels more intelligent than the previous phone. Google Pixel 10 boasts a Tensor G5 chipset which ensures smooth operation. Besides, its integrated Gemini makes composing emails, searching for information, and arranging pictures a breeze. The most notable improvement is the camera system which now comes with triple cameras, including the newly added 5x telephoto lens that offers up to 20x Super Res Zoom for capturing distant objects, Night Sight mode to capture low-light photos in dark restaurants and nighttime walks, and Camera Coach to help you adjust the shot. The screen of the Actua display reaches 3000nits peak brightness for better visibility under the sunlight. It also uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 to prevent scratches, and is waterproof and dustproof with IP68 rating. It's unlocked, allowing you to change carriers if you come across a better offer. It has a lot to offer.

Apple's iPhone 12 Pro Max in Pacific Blue shows up here as a fully unlocked renewed unit It has passed a full diagnostic test, been wiped of any prior owner's personal data, and checked for battery health — you're guaranteed at least 80% capacity, which is the number that actually matters on a secondhand phone. Cosmetically, expect minimal wear that fades away at arm's length, and don't be surprised if the box and accessories are generic rather than original. The real draw is the freedom: it works with any major carrier, so changing plans down the road is a non-issue. For flagship-feeling hardware without flagship pricing, this is a sensible route.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max in Black Titanium is the rare phone that feels as good as it performs. That 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR display is enormous without being clumsy, framed in titanium that keeps the weight surprisingly manageable, and the latest Ceramic Shield gives you real confidence about drops. Apple Intelligence handles the day-to-day stuff — rewriting a message, summarizing a thread, sorting what needs your attention — with privacy protections baked in rather than bolted on. My favorite addition is Camera Control, a physical-feeling shortcut that pulls up zoom and depth of field fast enough that you stop missing shots. At 1TB, storage anxiety disappears entirely, which matters if you shoot a lot of 4K video. As a renewed unit, it's the same flagship experience at a noticeably softer price.

BLU's Bold K12 is the rare budget phone that doesn't feel like a compromise. The 6.8-inch HD+ screen refreshes at 120Hz, so scrolling feeds and switching between apps stay noticeably fluid for the money. A 5,000mAh battery carries you through a full day of texting, streaming, and navigation, while the side-mounted fingerprint sensor unlocks everything instantly. The 50MP main camera handles everyday snapshots well, and the 8MP front shooter is perfectly fine for video calls. One thing to know going in: it's GSM only, so T-Mobile, AT&T, Mint, Metro, and Cricket work, but Verizon doesn't. Add 128GB of storage plus a bundled rugged case, screen protector, charger, cable, and headphones, and the value here is genuinely hard to argue with.

The iPhone 7 remains a stubbornly capable daily phone in a Grade A refurbished package This Black unit arrives in excellent condition with no or minimal signs of wear, running Boost Mobile service on nationwide networks. Apple's 4.7-inch Retina HD display stays bright and pocketable, Touch ID handles unlocking and Apple Pay without fuss, and the 12MP rear camera captures solid stills plus 4K video at 30fps. Water and splash resistance adds real peace of mind. Already on Boost? Pop your SIM in and power it on. New to the carrier, activate in store or online. As a starter phone, backup, or hand-me-down, it simply works.

Verizon's prepaid Galaxy A16 5G proves a budget phone can still feel surprisingly polished. The 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display pairs with a 90Hz refresh rate, so scrolling, gaming, and streaming stay fluid instead of stuttery. Around back, the 50MP triple-lens system handles everything from ultrawide landscapes to macro close-ups, giving you the right tool for nearly any shot. A 5000mAh battery comfortably powers a full day, and 25W Super Fast Charging gets you back up to speed fast. With 128GB built in and microSD expansion up to 1TB, storage stops being a worry. Just keep in mind it's locked to Verizon prepaid and needs a Verizon plan, though activation is a quick website step.

The NUU B30 5G makes a convincing case that you don't need flagship money for a screen that genuinely impresses. That 6.7-inch curved AMOLED running at 120Hz is the headline act — scrolling, streaming, and gaming all feel fluid and vivid. Under the hood, the Dimensity 7050 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage keeps heavy multitasking and games moving without much fuss. The 64MP triple camera handles everyday shots capably, and the 32MP selfie camera is sharp enough for video calls. Just verify your carrier first: it works with T-Mobile, Mint, and Metro, but not Verizon or AT&T. At this price, that's a reasonable trade.

The Unnecto Bolt One is a no-nonsense budget phone that knows exactly what it's for. For under sixty dollars, you get a compact 5-inch screen, Android 14 Go, and 2GB of RAM paired with a quad-core 1.3GHz processor — plenty for calls, texts, maps, and light apps without fuss. Storage is the pleasant surprise: 32GB built in, expandable up to 512GB via microSD, so photos and music have room to breathe. Just check your carrier first, since it's 4G/LTE only and skips band 71 and 5G. Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB-C cover the basics. A sensible spare, first phone, or travel companion.

The NUU X10 makes a solid case that you don't have to spend flagship money to get 5G. A clean, bloatware-free version of Android 16 runs on a roomy 6.7-inch display, and the phone comes fully unlocked for T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon — drop in your SIM and you're connected. Storage starts at 128GB and stretches to 512GB with a microSD card, which is generous at this price. NFC covers tap-to-pay, USB-C handles charging, and NUU throws in a charger, cable, case, and screen protector so there's no separate shopping list. It's an easy, practical daily driver for calls, navigation, streaming, and travel.

Big-screen phones don't have to cost four figures, and the Galaxy A26 5G makes that point convincingly. The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate, so scrolling feels smooth and colors pop, while the 5,000mAh battery comfortably carries you through a full day. Inside, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage handle everyday multitasking and a loaded photo library, with a microSD slot available if you need more room. The 50MP main camera turns out sharp daylight shots, backed by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro for close-ups. Android 15 with One UI 7 and up to six major upgrades gives this phone real staying power. One caveat: it's an international model, so new U.S. activations are limited to T-Mobile.

Most Apple Watch charging stands are either flimsy or fussy, but Nimble's take nails the essentials. Magnets pull the watch into place with a satisfying snap, so you're not blindly hunting for the charging coil at midnight, and 15W fast charging tops the battery off in about two hours. The stand switches between flat and upright, which means it moonlights as a nightstand clock at bedtime and sits low and tidy on a desk during the day. Compatibility spans everything from the original Series 1 through Ultra 2 and SE in sizes up to 49mm, and the recycled construction keeps the environmental footprint genuinely small. Just note that the USB-C cable is included, but you'll supply your own wall plug.

While durability is usually an afterthought, for the OUKITEL G7 it’s the star of the show. IP68 / IP69K rated and MIL-STD-810H certified ensure you can survive a dust storm, a rainstorm, or a drop test, its 10,600mAh battery allows you to go out for several days without worrying about battery life, and has enough juice to charge wireless earbuds or action camera via OTG reverse charge. The 6.52-inch 90Hz display supports a 400nit brightness so you can see things in the sun. Android 16 helps your octa-core processor feel snappier when you’re using different apps, with 4GB of RAM translating into a 16GB working experience. You can store data on 64GB to 1TB of storage. It also includes a 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. It’s a beastly workhorse phone, not a flagship.
