You don't actually need to rout out your guitar body to get massive, high-output tone. The Seymour Duncan SHR-1B-C is a bit of a sonic cheat code for Stratocaster players who crave heavy distortion but want to keep their single-coil footprint. I found that this single-rail design delivers a surprisingly thick, humbucking punch that fills the space usually reserved for much larger pickups. It manages to pack that aggressive, hot character required for modern metal right into a slim profile, making it a seamless upgrade for bridge positions. Whether you are looking to add more grit to your cleans or push an amp into saturation, this pickup bridges the gap between classic Strat versatility and heavy-duty power without the permanent structural surgery.

Metal players demanding an absolute wall of sound need the Seymour Duncan SH8 Invader to transform their tone. This isn't a subtle pickup. With a massive 16.8k D.C. resistance and a powerful ceramic bar magnet, it is engineered specifically to drive high-gain amplification with authority. I found that the high output provides the heavy, aggressive punch required for modern extreme genres, while the hum-canceling design keeps your signal clean even under heavy distortion. This massive 149-piece collection covers nearly every critical component, from pickguard and tuner screws to specific mounting hardware for Strat and Tele bridges. Having nine distinct types of black screws in one organized box eliminates the frustration of mid-repair shortages. It is important to note that the humbucker height adjustment screws are not compatible with imperial thread pickups like EMG or DiMarzio, and the neck plate screws are specific to certain joint styles. Despite those technical nuances, having this variety on hand makes it an essential staple for maintaining a diverse collection of guitars.

Dopro provides a reliable hardware lifeline for bassists and guitarists needing to refresh their instrument's mounting components. This pack of 20 nickel-finished screws and springs is specifically tailored for Precision Bass, Jazz Bass, or P90 soap bar pickups.
