Features: The magnetic base indicator holder has a fine adjustment feature. The on/off switch makes it easy to position. The v-groove base allows you to mount it on cylindrical surfaces.
Tips: An indicator is only useful when the tip is bearing against a surface to be measured. The action of pressing the tip against the surface moves the needle, also to some random position. But this position is relevant; turn the bezel so that the needle is pointing at zero. Now you can make measurements, both positive and negative, relative to the starting position.

High Precision: This high precision screwless vise with hold down clamps has a one-piece body. The body and jaws are hardened to Rc 58-62. All sides are flat, square and parallel to 0.0002". There are horizontal and vertical vees on the inside face of the movable jaw to hold round objects.
Height Adjustable Clamps: These clamps are height-adjustable so they will work with any screwless vise with 8 mm (5/16") or larger holes. You can also use these clamps in the slots that are in the end of most screwless vises.
